"God for Grownups," huh? Well, I'm 71 years old, so let's hear what you've got. Is "God" more than just Santa Claus for adults? How about one piece of good evidence that your god is real, rather than just imaginary. Just *one* (for now), please, but specific enough and in enough detail that I can judge it for myself. Why is *one* too much to ask? Since you're Christians, I'd also accept *one piece of good evidence* that _any_ of the magical/supernatural stories in the Bible actually happened. Your choice. And I will _give_ you a guy named Jesus who was crucified by the Romans. After all, if you don't have _one,_ you don't have anything distinguishable from wishful-thinking. I know you _want_ your religion to be true - the religion you were taught to believe as a child, of course? - but do you have any reason to think that it really _is_ true? Why is *one* piece of good evidence always too much to ask?
Why don't you come to our discussion and ask us? All are welcome! If you watch the video, you'll see we discuss these very questions. We're meeting again on Aug. 20
