    Had a share in a Turb in the early eighties. Brilliant fun and so cheap to fly. Ballon bursting was a good game to play-the hardest bit was finding it after I’d thrown it out. Enjoy!

    Nice! What is empty weight and gross weight? What engine do you have? What is the cabin width? Comfort? Couple two hundred pounders fit? Thinking about getting one of these.

    I like that plane probably the strongest ultralight built today,I wonder what the cruise speed with a jabiru engine would be

      With Jabiru 80cv approximately the same as a Rotax 80cv, so about 125kmh

    Love it.. you have brakes ? only turbulent I have seen with brakes.. Sure would like to find one in North America to buy.. Message me if you have one.. project or not. 4/2022.

      Hi Larry, the Turbulent I had did have some brakes. The original technical drawings had brakes: two pedals between the rudder pedals, for a total of 4 pedals (a bit tricky if you have big feet). Regarding the Turbulent project: I only have the plans/drawings.

      Larry, Igualada is a city nearby Barcelona, in Spain. There is an aerodrome nearby with OACI code LEIG.

      Glad you liked it! I have sold this beautiful plane to focus on another personal project. But I will build one some day in the future... it is by far the best ultralight aircraft I have flown.

    I enjoy your videos about the Murphy Maverick. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information online about them. I'm curious about how much space/room there is inside for a tall pilot. For instance, I looked at the 00:30 part of this video for how much headroom clearance you have from the plane's structure with your sitting height. How tall are you and what pants inseam do you happen to have? That'd help to understand how much of your height is in your legs versus your torso, since two people of the same height can have significant differences in how they may fit. Thanks in advance and keep posting new videos for us to ride along.

      Hi Mcrider, thank for your comment. Regarding your question, let me answer in 2 steps: 1. I am 1m74cm (5 ft 7 approx). 2. I have flown with taller people, and I don't think there is any problem up to 6 ft 2. Then, I would simply recommend to push back the seats: it's just about moving 4 rivets.       Yes it is! In France it can be registered as GA aircraft or microlight (ULM).

    Love the vidoe and love the plane! Im not here to judge you but im just saying in my opinion that stall was a bit low level and if you got into a spin, there wouldnt be a whole lot of room

      Thank you for the comment. The Spanish law requires Ultralight aircrafts to fly under 1,000ft AGL (!!!). Fortunately the stall of the Turbulent is very soft, and the commands are very effective at all speeds. I must say that this aircraft's security has not changed since its conception, in the 1950's :p

      Good point :) there were 2 cameras: 1 focusing on the instruments and whatever I was watching, and 1 focusing on the pilot for my personal memories. The latter one is clearly not needed but this way when I am 90 years old I can watch this video and dream...

      Thank you! This Maverick has a Rotax 912 UL (80hp). The blades of the prop are set in such a way that during take-off I reach 5600 rpm at WOT. I can take-off in 60m when alone in the plane. Do you also have a Maverick?

      @@skydive1424 As single seater I must recommend the Druine D.31 Turbulent, with VW engine. As ultra-light aircraft, it is by far the most fun I've flown. I plan on building one soon.
