Video captures my experience of Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal is a hill town in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest. Rowing boats can be hired, and hikers and cyclists follow the 5k Lake Road path around the shore. We drove to Kodaikanal from Bengaluru and spent 3 days in an AirBnB.

What should we prefer local jeep for sightseeing and travelling or self drive car?
Self drive cars always provide comfort and are hassle free as compared to local drivers. Roads are good so I would say it's better if you come by your own vehicle

Date of travel and mall road se walking distance per hai hostel ya nhi ?? And road jyada steep toh nhi hai zostel jane ke liye?
We travelled on 18 Mar 2024. Yes it's walking distance from Mall road. Road thoda steep hai but concrete so manageable. Might be uncomfortable for old age people

It was good to see this vlog, you dint degrade the place but told your opinion about being smelly, bad roads, not clean beaches, not enough to cafés to eat, in a very decent way, yes there is lot of improvement to be done. There are different packages, if you opt for 3 meals it's around INR 2200 and 2 meals are around INR 1700 for one person

Dude - you need to figure out a thing that differentiates your content from other food / travel bloggers. You waste a tub of time and 70 percent of your stuff has no reason for people to watch your content for 15/20 mins. Others have done all these things and cover it in a way that it is fun, engaging and keep coming back. I hope this feedback helps you. Are there any local transport in Kollam?
No, in Kollam city you can still find rickshaw etc. but Ashtamudi is about 20 km outside so there you won't find any local transport
