Nice project.
Great work brother.
Nice more video please...
I mean why
Boredom
We're at a stage in evolution where we've meme-ified everything and now we have speedruns of PCB design...
love the rotary menu...i would definitely add that to my laptop
wow!! this is amazing!
bro doing that to every single part would make me go crazy!
Most are in KiCad already, it's the super niche footprints that I usually bring in from EasyEDA
Hello how much to build me one sir?
This was a one-off, sorry!
@ashtf thank you sir
Can you throw us the link to the computer that you are running there?
www.youyeetoo.com/products/youyeetoo-x1-x86-single-board-computer
@@ashtf interesting, how much faster do you think this is when compared to the new maxed out Raspberry Pi 5
@@ashtf whats the actual wattage draw of this thing, because I know that raspberry Pi 5 has a ridiculous draw, and could even last 30h+ working with one larger battery. Not to mention that usually in those DIY custom builds, you could easily fit even 3 of these batteries
what an epic project, this looks amazing! Great job!!
Helpful vid! Love it
That thing is so bad ass, I hope to see the project revived again, huge inspiration on creativity, I dig the menu style and hope to learn menus soon. All success starts with bumps in the road to get there, I'm really into atar trek futuristic menus these days and this fit the order 100%. I seen another cool on on hexpod robot on youtube, its built into the remote, amazing work!
good work! thats an awesome little project!
this is an fantastic Project and I wanted to know if you may upload the documentation on your Git hub, so everyone can bild one? But shows only the surface of the power of the ESP 32. with WIFI and Bluetooth etc.
Just added a GitHub link to the description! This project is a work in progress, so it's not quite done but I will be updating the files/documentation as I go through GitHub. Thank you for your comment!
Brilliant work....keep it up...
I'm learning Kicad rn. Your content is very helpful tks
Can I use this code to oled display 128x64?
I suppose so but the graphics would be cut off at the bottom
Could one possible build something like this and make it portable and reliable? Would be also nice to have the text sync to any pc
Working on it right now... It will have the feature of exporting the text files to a PC
Dudeeeeee... a conversation i often talk about with friends is how modern devices lack soul. No boot up animations, no sound effects, or care put into the underlying device/ code. This is probably the best example i could ever show someone. So much love and care put into every detail. From well steucturee code to smooth animations ahhhh its a wonderful project 🥺
Nice. Where did you get that rotary encoder module?
Question if i may: What switches did you use for the keyboard keys? Asking cause im lookjng at a similar sized keyboard for a personal project. Cheers!
They're surface-mount (SMD) tactile switches, not sure the exact part number but there are thousands to choose from based on your project specifications
Wow,looks so great and programing behind it is mindblowing. Thumbs up for creative side of editing, soldering music got me! 😂😂
the animation is awesome
Looks awesome! Loving the content man :)
Nice! Im going to be using a launchxl-f28069m for a similar project. Very informative thank you
Very well produced video, excellent content and commentary. Bravo!
I will be doing the same with a motor controller
Very neat! I love the original mini screen idea
Shame about the screen being dead, but I like the idea. If it were a touch screen you could have something akin to a reconfigurable trackpad, perhaps it shows a numpad when numlock is on, or if you wanted to get your hands dirtier you could add an emoji picker to it for... reasons
👍👍👍👍
amazing work, inspiring ❤
bada$$
Nice job with the keyboard. Also I've seen that SBC before at stores but this is the first build I've actually seen it in.
I wonder if the keyboard will be better with the 4D printed cover having a sort of wireframe keeping each key in place, and having each key printed at an angle, like full-size keyboard keys, to be able to have that wireframe support be lower than the top of the keys, so you can press the keys without the wireframe being in the way. Ideally, you would use a stiffer plastic, maybe even metal, for the wireframe support spacer thing.
Sorry, I lost complete interest the moment hideous Windows 10 appeared on the screen. It's not a cyberdeck if it's not running Linux, just another potentially nice portable machine ruined by a bloated and privacy-hating OS. Shame.
It's ok, I wanted to be able to run things on it
Impressive😮
so i can't buy it ? =C
cool project buddy
hey i need to contact you, you im any social media??
I don't have any social media, sorry
nicely done
Wonderful work.
NEEDS LESS CYBER MORE HACKER TOOLS.. Vr cool but SO IS working power
Beautiful. You could throw some custom graphics on the case with that fancy laser.
This is an amazing project Ash. Inspiring me to build my own Cyberdeck for on the go. Awesome stuff. Subbed. Looking forward to seeing more awesome projects. Binging whatever is on your channel now!
Where can i buy 1?
Unfortunately, this is one of a kind :)
@@ashtf how unlucky.
woaaahhh thats awesomeeeee
Sweet build! When i see someone at /mk say they "built a keyboard" and all they did was pop in hot swap switches ya know big cringe but what you built really is impressive and looks perfect.
Thats cool!
electrical technician here, glad i found another unique maker.
