Yes. Power wheelchairs do vary, but this can lift up to 750 lbs. The platforms can also be sized as needed. The default platform will probably handle a power wheelchair well, but if not we can easily customize it for you.

Our default weight capacity is 500 lbs, but customers can and do often have us upgrade their lift to handle 750 lbs.

No, shipping is not included. We often, however, have people from that area who pick up the lift at our factory. We have several good installers nearby, but you probably don't need an installer for a lift that short unless you need a concrete pad poured or significant carpentry done. Yes. there is a completely independent safety system that prevents any fall if the main cable, pulley or hoist were to fail.

Yes, all of our lifts are now indoor/outdoor. A protective weatherproof hoist cover is now standard with each unit. We also have galvanized and stainless steel options for coastal environments.

I would also add that the lift in this video is for 4' of rise. A 6' high lift could also be moved like this, but would be more challenging because of its size.

That's a great question. We have a failsafe system that will keep the platform from falling. This backup system is totally separate from the hoist and cable system, so if the cable or hoist fails the platform will not fall.
