Honestly, in my opinion here; it doesn’t look too bad here. I think it’s fine but I do agree that it kinda looks different from the actual movie counterpart. But nevertheless, I hope Hiya Toys will eventually do some retooling to make the figure more better but keeping those beautiful details and articulation systems as they were. So therefore, I’m going to buy him if Hiya Toys announcing their Final Wars Godzilla, so yeah, both of them are the final pieces for my Millennium Godzilla Era collection, thus my life is complete.

Honestly, although that I’m pretty surprised to learn that S.H. MonsterArts made an countering move with their suit accurate Godzilla 2000 version, yet I may have to make an easy pass on it due to its pricy $140 tag while as Hiya Toys Godzilla 2000 is far more cheaper option, as well as being 3D sculpted and the SHMA version has more realistic approach. BTW, I happened to preorder both Hiya Toys GMK Godzilla and Godzilla 2000 since I felt like they’re more adorable to pay shipping for the SHMA version. And one more thing, the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 2000 suit accurate version is based on the Godzilla from “Godzilla vs Megaguirus” since it does kinda make a lot of senses though.

I'm gonna buy this regardless of rather it's updated or not.

In my honest opinion, I do think this is the worst Toho Hiya release, but still FAR from a bad figure. I really think Hiya has just set the bar so high that any minor issue sticks out A LOT. As far as changed, it's really just super minor ones, slightly slim him, make the neck longer, and make the head a tad smaller and rounder.

Got like 6 different sets for our daughter who loves Power Rangers. They fell apart as soon as she played with them. We haven't built them all. And I paid $13 for one set cause it was at Marshall's and not 5 below. She got the motorcycle sets and she tried to roll it, so many pieces came off! So for a kid, not at all worth it cause mama don't feel like having to glue them all together 😂
