Hi, thanks for your question. If you have the missed approach entered in the MCDU and see the blue line on the Nav Display you can either fly it manually, using heading mode with the autopilot engaged, or you can also let the plane take care of the missed approach using LNAV again with AP1 engaged. As you say if you have a VOR or NDB tuned into the Nav Rad you can also follow the course out to it as published on the charts. Hope this helps, thanks for watching & commenting 👍✈️

Hi… thanks for your question. Yes I play on both Xbox and PC… you need to press the init request button on the right hand side of the init page on the MCDU to import the flight plan from Simbrief. Then you can add your SIDS & STARS etc. Hope this helps, thanks for watching 👍✈️

Hi Tom, thanks for your question. You need to make sure you’re at the correct altitude to intercept the glide slope and also that you have engaged the APPROACH mode button on the FCU. Also, to check the ILS frequency you need a navigraph subscription which gives you access to charts… the ILS frequency can be found in the middle of the approach chart with the 3 letter identifier code for the airport. As you say, the airbus should automatically tune to the ILS, I just like to double check everything. Hope this helps, thanks for watching & commenting, appreciated 👊✈️

Hi… thanks for your question. You need to first add your Simbrief ID into the settings on the tablet which allows you to import the flight plan on the EFB… then when you move down to the FMC on the Flight Plan page, you press the flight plan request button on the right hand side, you then press load once it’s imported and it will bring in all your waypoints for your flight into the FMC. You’ll still need to add your SID for your departure and STAR for your arrival airport but once you’ve done that you’re golden. Thanks for watching, appreciated 👍✈️

Hi thanks for your question. Do you mean you don’t have the flight level on the nav display? You just need to press the CSTR button on the EFIS… that will display any altitude constraints at relevant waypoints. Although that won’t make the autopilot follow the descent profile, you need to make sure you have set the lowest altitude on the FCU and engaged managed descent. Hope this helps, good luck 👍✈️

@seven3simmer seems like my autopilot was not in managed, thank you. However now I can't program the localizer. I get a fault saying "navaid not in database". The ils is tuned to the right frequency though.

Hey, thanks, hope this can be helpful for you. What I would say is my issue does intermittently come back but I just repeat the process to get it going again. It’s not ideal and completely unacceptable for a premium piece of hardware but at least it’s a workaround so you don’t have to fork out to send the yoke back to thrustmaster. Hi, thanks for your question. Make sure you’ve added your STAR and arrival runway into the FMC to see if everything joins up. If you’re still seeing a discontinuity you can simply click on it and delete. However some discontinuities are supposed to remain, for example all the arrivals into Frankfurt are vectors so it does depend sometimes where you’re flying so just bear that in mind too. Hey thanks, appreciated! I simply updated to v1.0.0 and it fixed my issue. However you have to completely remove / delete the previous version then re-install. @@seven3simmer yea, i done a quick flight from luton to malaga had some issues with it along the way did have to recalibrate it twice hopefully in xplane it wont be so bad.. my landing in xp earlier it seemed fine this was before i discovered the video

Hi Jose… that message sounds like you’ve not turned off the APU to me, just double check you turn off the APU once you’ve started both engines. I’d also service the aircraft too to make sure everything is good. Thanks for watching, appreciated 👍✈️

Hi James, thanks for your question. You need a Navigraph subscription for the ONAS to work… then all you do is zoom right in on the Nav Display using the range knob (it’s labelled zoom) and then it works a treat. Thanks for watching & commenting 👊✈️

Hey thanks for your comment… just make sure you’ve entered the ILS frequency correctly for your runway on both pilots & first officers Nav radios… then ensure you’ve captured your glide slope then when you engage CMD B it should work fine. Thanks for watching, appreciated 👍✈️

There’s so many people with the issue, it’s really not good enough for something that’s not a cheap bit of hardware. Thanks for sharing your solution, I might have a look at that too. I've tested again and now my best results are by: uninstalling TM Drivers go in windows usb gamecontrollers, reset yoke to default install TM drivers again calibrate yoke with built in calibration the disturbances were almost fully gone, I flew for 2 hours now. I hope it stays like this

Hi Chris... this was recorded little while ago but I just hopped on Simbrief to recreate the flight plan... its the same route from Frankfurt to Barcelona but the active runway is 06L which is different from the video. To answer your question just make sure you selected the correct departure runway & SID… then double check you have both flight directors turned on along with auto throttle… then once you’re airborne and through 1000 ft hit CMD A to engage the autopilot and you’re golden. @@seven3simmer Appreciate it! Turns out I had not imputed the first waypoint :/. It said (Vector) and I had to change it to my waypoint, had to do it on the arrival also.
