On July 9th 2024, in hot 37C heat, CP 2816 is on its way back to Calgary! Here is crossing the provincial border from SK to AB on its way to Dunmore.

After a maintenance stop in Brooks. 2816 makes her way south through Tilley on the way to Dunmore. I heard rumors of Alberta Premier Danielle Smith riding along as CPKC was promoting it's Hydrogen program.

An old warbonnet takes a grain train into Livingston MT where it meets with L/M. The conductor of the warbonnet waves at his buddies on the way by.

2816 makes its way past Cassils and proceeds into Brooks for a quick maintence stop. Here we caught it on the Hwy. 36 overpass with at least 50 other people on the bridge.
An MRL Jimbo glides by the old Northern Pacific station in Bozeman, MT. Even has a Caboose

Me & the GF want to move to the town of empress which is also on the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. I would assume there's a fair amount of railfans in the prairies?

Cool video but that’s not a super train. A super train is 2 trains combined into one. This is just a regular loaded grain train. MRL tried super heavies a handful of times and they were failures and BNSF has yet to try it
