Council Ring is a psychedelic rock band from Charlotte, North Carolina. Their music varies between melodic soundscapes and hard-rock riffing; their lyrics range from personal growth and self-discovery to popular moments found at a local bar. The songs seem familiar, yet original, and the energy of the band focuses on good songwriting and thrilling instrumentation.
Council Ring released their first self-produced single “Stand” in July of 2021 and their second single “Catching Eyes” in April of 2022. Their debut album Beyond the Door comes out on all streaming platforms in August 2022: displaying a range of musicality, the album takes the listener on an adventure that proves to be well worth the trip. The band has played at clubs, bars, and music festivals in the North Carolina region. Their experience continues to grow as does their fan base, and they are constantly searching for new milestones to climb to.

Bass player the MVP for me, well done. In general, studio version sounds a bit clinical live in terms of the tempo. Wish you went for 1980-81 Wall Live, it's really energizing. I'd encourage keyboard player to play more. Play those funky keys, man! That Nord must have some decent Wurlitzer patches. Pete Wood, the second keys player on 1980 tour, he would really boogie up the place! Think he had some funky FX on that Wurli too, some wah definitely. Keep Floyding!
