Call me nuts but I prefer hobbit to LoTR mostly (minus the whole kili tauriel romance) and thorin to aragorn mainly cause I just love the dwarves and they are not adequately represented in LOTR I mean moria quite possibly the mightiest kingdom of middle earth is shown as a few dark halls and a balrog
