Dr Lupo is the absolute best. He did my total knee replacement and I was doing this well too .I only had 2 days of therapy due to my getting covid. And i didnt get sick with it and never had the vaccine. I would never go to anyone else for any type of orthopedic surgery. So thankful he did my surgery.
Even at 10 weeks I could not do that
I was suppose to have my knee surgery February 20 I had to postpone it but I will have it in March
Omg good job!!! I'm 3 weeks in and seem to be going backwards! I can't raise my leg myself like you can....my quads aren't working.....I was borderline straight legged for 10 years prior to surgery though....couldn't bend my knee past 90, couldn't straighten it all the way....very weak. Perhaps that's why 🤔
Not true
She is doing good
All these people no pain BS!!!
Don't compare yourself to others. I'm 7days after surgery, lot of pain, my leg is green, black, violet.... 😂😂😂😂I can't even do 90 degrees. I will
I had a knee replacement in may.and I still can't walk
Two weeks?? More like two months.
No that incision screams "two weeks" Don't hate. Appreciate. This is amazing! Good for her!
Whyyyy am I so pathetic??? 😭😭😭 So much pain. No where near that flexion.
Don't feel bad, me either.❤
@@stacyA65 thank you but, I'm much better now.
Okay, wow! Isn’t she an anomoly though? 2 weeks no pain? Was she born without pain receptors?😂 She looks like she’s at 120 degrees. I hope I can get there. I’m 4 days post-op and feeling discouraged. I was 86 degrees at day 1. I can straighten completely. But my muscles are so damn week especially my quadriceps that I can’t even lift my leg. I’m trying to find as much info as I can because my dr told me nothing. Thank God for PTs, because without them I’d be lost.
Lmfao thats my thought cause everyone tells me it an incredible painful surgery
@@christyethomas4575 I had mine about 6 weeks ago now. I was just kneeling in church. I’m flexing at 135-140 degrees and that happened by week 4. My knee is now the least of my problems. Don’t put it off, but go into it as strong as you possibly can. I tried but not in enough time. My quadriceps wouldn’t fire for about 10 days. So my knee was constantly giving out. I had a fall after I advanced to cane. But it was in soft grass. Thankfully a man was able to lift me while I pushed off with my other leg because I’d have been laying there a long time! 🤣 To be honest the first 2 days were a breeze but the following week was awful for me. I was and still am dealing with quite a bit of sciatica which was triggered with surgery but I have a history of it. And I need a the gluteus medius muscle reattached to my left hip so like I said my knee is nothing now. By 3 weeks you should feel pretty good. Really. I’m an RN and that is the majority of people. Now if you are morbidly obese then this doesn’t apply unfortunately. Recovery usually takes much longer. Just push yourself.
I know what you mean about the quad muscles I'm in the same boat 2 weeks out from TKR. How are you doing now?
Effing incredible I'm two weeks and my knees are killing me
Must MUST do your moving .. if you don't push yourself it we for Nothing.. l had it n wish you all the very best. Bob n Brad on UA-cam are great. You must be able to eventually keep that leg straight! If you keep sitting or w knee slightly bent it w STAY basically.. then one leg w be *shorter* bec of the position you keeping it in.. That w screw up your back n then digestion .. l know you can , even if you gotta take meds at this point.DO IT 👏🏽🫶
Love ❤️ 😍
Where is the bruising? No Surgeon would encourage a TKR to walk without assistance like that
I’m almost at 4 and have incredible pain. Nerve electrical shock
Me too. Nightmare.
Az én térdem is ilyen, de 4 műtétem volt hajlik rendesen, de dagadt az én lábam!
