DOT will also site you for improperly secured loads if the straps are done the way shown in this video, check you states laws but I bet you’ll find that this guy is promoting unsafe practice and he’s not meaning harm he just didn’t know is what I think is going on. He seems like a good guy he just doesn’t realize he could cause harm teaching this as a way to secure that strapped load.

That’s not good at all. Not for long hauls especially. The load shifts and the “ tie “ comes undone. Please folks do not secure your load this way it’s not safe. Not safe at all, period.
