Hey Pilot Will, thank you for your comment and your motivation!! If it was by me I would fly every single day. Well maybe not the day after a bigger loss but the day after xD Thanks!! This was like a milestone for me I think. Now I dare something bigger than 64/70 class and I have a couple waiting in the hangar :)

@ficosk8 You can do it man. I've come to find bigger flies better so when you're ready go for it. Nothing to fear all planes are meant to fly and land in one piece.

@@rcpilotwill hahaha yes!! It’s tricky to steer on the grass. On the first attempt a couple of weeks ago she tipped over and broke the missile holders. Than I wanted to throw her as usually but the angle was to extreme on 4S and the additional pack weight (that flight 4S 2600) plus the landing gear made a short vertical and full gas into the ground. The fuse broke badly and I was mad. But with some precautions and flaps she takes off nicely on 4S and vertical on 5S 🤣 😆

@@dagobertosalazar hola Dagoberto! No, lamentablemente. Estaba tratando de montar un motor en un Black Horse P40 warhawk que compré usado y vi ese anuncio un rato después al parecer. Le escribí e incluso aceptó los €90 😹 pero cuando llamé me dijo que ya lo había prometido a otro y no hubo caso. Ese si que estaba nuevo de paquete! El mío bastante viejito y reparado. Pagué €110 que pensaba estaba muy bien, pero bueno. Al final es para pasarlo bien y no tenerlo en el salón 🤣 Ya le he comprado otro Edf algo más potente. Creo que tendré problemas de lograr el mismo CG con la batería pequeña de 3300 que usé… Qué te pareció el video? Yo quedé súper contento porque las condiciones no eran ideales y siempre rompo mucho 😹

@@ficosk8 A mí el vuelo me pareció muy bien, y por 100 Euros está estupendo aunque esté reparado. También parece tener potencia, o al menos es bastante rápido cuando te lo propones. Yo pensé comprarlo porque no tengo ningún ala delta, pero decidí que iba a esperar a que dominara los que ya tengo 🙂

@@dagobertosalazar Enhorabuena! Cuando nos juntamos a volar :) 👍🏼 Te recomiendo cómo semi delta los F-16seis! Son muy buenos también :D Tengo muchas ganas de volar el Mirage denuevo, sin tren de aterrizaje, el aterrizaje es más fácilmente también 😆 Pero claro, practicar es importante…. Es lo que me falta a mi también. Pero ganas tengo muchas y siempre :P

@@dagobertosalazar viste el Video completo también? Este era solo un short. Está bien loco lanzarlo pero tenía algo de confianza por lanzar el F-16 70mm. Con un gyro el lanzamiento sería mucho más seguro pues cuando el avión iba casi a diez metro yo aún no tenía mi mano derecha en los controles 😆 y el vuelo con Gyro también sería más estable, pero aguanta muy bien esos vientos algo más fortazos. Mis F-16 se me movían más dando la curva con el viento de Cola, transpiré bastante a ratos 🤣

@@dagobertosalazar Hola Dagoberto! Creía haberte respondido. Es un super jet para ser de 64mm y super liviano. Ideal para tirarlo y usarlo sin tren de aterrizaje (landing gear). Lo volé así algunas veces. Aunque también le rompí un poquito la nariz tratando de aterrizar suave "high alpha". Debiera haberlo tratado siempre algo más plano, pero éste modelo planea bastante como decía el camarógrafo del vídeo xD. Me gusta bastante el tipo de avión semi Delta porque puedes aplicar bastante elevador sin que se te caiga y va empujando por las curvas. Se puede volar super lento en high alpha. Tengo un Freewing F-16 V2 antigüito de 70mm con nuevo edf pero ese se me cayó cuando se hizo casi de noche justo después de haber hecho éste espectacular maiden. Así vivo el hobby con altos y bajos :P. ASí que mi F-16 está esperando en la bodega para recibir bastante pegamento. Casi fue un milagro haberlo encontrado porque lo buscamos dos días y quedé con las piernas llenas de ortigas nuevamente... Saludos!!

Bueno, en realidad no fue mucho mas brutal que 6S, pero volé con cuidado porque no sabía que tan buenas serían esas baterías que puse en serie. Eran de dos marcas diferentes aunque de la misma capacidad y C también. Pronto soldaré algunas de las que uso regularmente para hacerme una buena de 7S. Ahí haré pruebas de velocidad, pero para tener un resultado óptimo deberé sacarle las ruedas. Porque frenan mucho en el aire. Con el edf anterior que tenía menos empuje lograba máximo 160 km/h con 6S. Con éste Freewing yo creo que debería andar por los 170-175. Con 7S y sin ruedas espero poder superar mi mejor marca que hice con la Avanti roja de 199 km/h con 6S, pero en un buen pique de bajada y una suave brisa creo también. Qué tal tu? Que hacen los warbirds?

Algo de tamaño tiene y el piloto hace ver muy simples los backflips y high alphas xD

veo que sigues muchos videos de #RCModelReviews ! uno de los últimos de soldaje tengo que revisar porque de vez en cuando sigo teniendo problemas hahaha Estoy soldando una batería de LiIon para probar con 6S y 4S, ayer probé un soldador chino que compré en Amazon con una tremenda punta de cobre con bastante capacidad de calor y funciona genial. 2 segundos y ya se pega fuerte :D

Yes for me too xD More because not 30 min before I had stalled my Futura 64 which did not have more than 10 flights I think. But in both cases the fault was behind the transmitter xD In this case I banked her without turning (I don´t know why, maybe because the right turns aren´t mine) and after a second of course she stalled. Also I was unprepared to react. Now I have stalled many times my Futura 64 being to slow on turns and at least I can react... Thanks for the comment! And I share your opinion, this is such a great flier! Slow or fast, low or high, every time super. Just my landing gear is poor.

I’ll watch that! I have been learning on the futura 64 and it’s cool to fly and land on a deep dive with full flaps :P But the Avanti 70 V1 flies much more cool and smooth! But I have more respect for landing that one. And the F16 is much quicker on landings. I’ll need to train more and try high alphas. I have just around 4 flights with her. I’m looking for the Avanti 80 :) I have a Viper 70 and 90 from FMS waiting :)))

@@ficosk8 freewing 90mm f16 ? That’s a beast! Definitely not a beginner edf. Many a good pilots have lost her. Be careful . I’m sure you’ve heard but, bigger does fly more stable if all things equal. Especially with wind. I’ve got a f15 90 among too many others that needs maidening as well. Keep up the fun stuff!

@@Hype_RC no, both 70 and 90 new FMS Vipers :) I said just a beginner :)))) today I crashed my Futura doing a low roll that caught me because it was too barrel roll. Wasn’t prepared to add rudder and the it was to late . But she is 80% repaired already 😆

If I could turn it off I would xD Just for slope soaring not xD :)

It depends a lot of the pilots or the pilot with who you are flying. This guy and his son fly very well and can direct you very good. So it easier as to fly with someone that can fly as uncontrolled as you xD xD

Hi FerociousFrankie! Yes no Problem, just unglued the horizontal stab and broke two small pieces. I need to trimm it and find a good CG but a couple of days later it was pretty good. The lights are really cool when it’s pretty dark! Just connect them to the 6S balance port. Nothing additional but if you want you could connect another lipo. But I suppose it doesn’t need too much amps. 👍🏼 👍🏼

@@ferociousfrankie how much does it costs there? I got mine second hand very cheap and already repaired. I also bought a carbon landing gear because someone was blaming about the original aluminium one. But I think landing correctly the original is ok. I haven’t exchanged it yet. The new plane costs here about $600 was is crazy…

Sort off xD Fast as hell sometimes. Bueno, no alcanzé a disfrutarla y sentirla bien. Pero ayer terminé de repararla luego de que estuviera mes y medio medio destruida. No pensé que puediese repararla bien, pero ha quedado estupenda para como estaba. Incluso el landing gear lo reparé y reinstalé :) Anoche le volví a colocar el receptor y todo en orden :D A ver si me atrevo éste fin de semana si hay poquito viento. O una tarde cuando haya menos sol de cara... Cuando vienes a volar con nosotros :) ? Si te interesa una Futura 64mm creo que he encargado una demás xD

Hola Dagoberto, nada más un receptor común y corriente. Creo que revisé los mixes the flaps con alerones y otras cosas que no me fije concientemente en los alerones pese a que hice el chequeo antes del vuelo también. Entré en la Golden Reversed Ailerons List xD xD un par de días después hice el maiden correcto si bien éste avioncito vuela algo raro con el centro de gravedad como dice el manual. Algo lo mejoramos pero tan lindo no era. Igual por €140 y con los LEDs que tiene en el fuselaje y alas (para volar de noche) está bien :P

Ese fue mi maiden, estuve orgulloso y contento de no terminar en la punta de un arbol de 30 m xD hahaha. El otro día volé con un viento algo más intenso pero ahora con el gyro Reflex y se puede pero no lo disfruto mucho...

@@ficosk8 Sí, se puede volar pero yo siempre estoy muy tenso cuando vuelo con viento. No es agradable. Y en un maiden menos! Tuviste suerte!

@@dagobertosalazar sí bastante suerte. Lo bueno es que estaba solo y ahí estoy menos nervioso. Aparte que estaba ansioso y quería hacer pronto el maiden xD mi error. Aunque nada grave pasó. Le hice un buen stall unas semanas después, pero arreglada igual vuela muy bien :) Pues volar con viento con otros modelos se puede o también es la costumbre. A un colega le encargué la misma Futura 64mm y el Domingo hace una semana volaba con el mismo viento como si nada y yo transpirando (casi...). Lo que he aprendido un poco es que siempre hay que mantener un cierto nivel de acelerador tipo 40-60%. Y el problema es que a mi me gusta volar rápido y subir y luego bajar planeando. O hacer curvas algo lento. Eso con viento no funciona bien porque el viento te mueve mucho el avión y no se tiene control y más miedo me da. Pero tengo que seguir practicando y espero que tome más confianza...

Hi Brian! What an honor :) Yes I swapped the ESC to an 60A Surpass Hobby Flier. It´s like a Hobbywing but I think it has 8A SBec. It was the only one I had handy. I had originally put an QX Motor 2400KV 6S fan in. And had a couple of flights and then a crash. I´m just learnning to fly edfs so I´m not sure if it was a stall or the edf that wasn´t sitting very firm with the screws moved inflight. The stock 3150KV edf seems to work well on 5S. I didn´t notice heat on the "exhaust". I have ordered a 2200mAh 5S pack to make longer flights. It´s heavy in comparison to the test pack but should work well. I´ll measure current and temperature the next time. Happy Easter to you and your family and thanks for passing by!

About the ESC, I think it pulls peak more than 60A. On 4S around 40-45A on the full pack... I need to measure thrust too. I just did measures on 4S and than 6S. And there are sensible differences. Sadly mainly heavier packs with high C (graphene or similar) deliver the most thrust or power. But that is the chemistry of lipos. I´ll try Li Ion in future too. I have ordered some Samsung 21700 40t cells to solder :P

Muchas gracias! Me gusto mucho ese vuelo así que pensé hacer este short. Primero con un rock y luego con esta canción que honra el salto a la estratosfera que hace el chiquitito 🤣 Es una Futura 64mm de FMS. Tiene 90cm de ancho, lo mismo que una 70 mm Avanti de FMS. Pero más pequeña que una Avanti S. Pero con batería pesa cerca 1,1kg que es “nada”… Lo que sería más lindo las ruedas retractiles, pues un jet se ve más guai cuando es planito por abajo…. Pero cuando arreglé mi Avanti 70mm o con una F-16 usada que me compre la semana pasada 😇 😇

Le había puesto un Edf de 6S y volaba similar al video! Pero tuve un Stall o quizás se me soltó el Edf que no estaba bien apretado y CRASH…. Así que ahora con el motor stock de nuevo que queda más firme. Quizás le instalo el Freewing 64mm que es un poquitín más ancho que el FMS y tiene casi 1,7 kg de empuje!!! Claro que las baterías 6S igual pesan un poquito más que la 4 o 5S pero anda súper también…. Hoy he estado pensando en soldarme unas 21700 Li Ion que son más livianas y Durán bastante volando de manera civilizada….

Michas gracias Ricky!! Quedé enamorado! Me habían dicho que estos landing gears de modelos baratos se rompen de inmediato, asi wue el primer vuelo fue tirando de mano y aterrizaje de fuselaje. Luego arregle u mejore el landing gear y no ha sido problema alguno! Hasta que trate un vuelo de cuchillo y rompi un ala y un landing gear. Pero ya esta todo listo! 👍🏼
