Hangin' With Uncle Bob

I'm the Uncle Bob and here I've got a project that I have big dreams for. But first we gotta literally start at the bottom.
Here I will be doing loose plays. Its just a let's play that I'm being super lame and naming different. Nice relaxing play through of retro games. Loose plays because they're going to be relaxed. The program I use I'm unable to edit so any grinding, any sucking eggs that I do, it will be put up. If I have to suffer so do you.
Favorite thing to do is ramble. About everything. No topic is off limits. This channel currently serves to talk about whatever is on my mind. Life. Parenthood. Politics. Social problems. Work. Experience. Politics. And also to hopefully be moderately entertaining.
The format I'll have is recording between and hour to two hours of footage at once and release them over the course of the week.

Very late comment since this LP is long done Buut Your magic is stronger if you switch to your current claw (in this case, the dragon claw). For example, should you cast cure on your party, or flare at the dark king it will heal you/damage him (respectively) more if you switch from the excalibur to the dragon claw And you can check the difference in magic (and other) stats in the menu too

@unclebobboomergames yeah I like the attention to detail like this Like, your bombs have usually the strongest attack power, but they're stuck being multi-target. And then if you want to single target in a group of enemies you have to use your axe That is, up until the Excalibur which have the strongest attack power But then you might not want to use it because some enemies have other weaknesses that can be explored The list can go on So, despite the game being easy, it still require some strategy and all I love it💙

Played this game w million times as a kid, I beat it a good few times, played it couple years ago for first time in like25-30 years and went through it and beat it by memory and accidentally got the good ending,beat it under two hours and wasn't meaning to so i would say I can put Simon's quest to bed forever

@unclebobboomergames I saw you tearing up back there. Definitely keep the tissues nearby for future major heartstring pulling episodes. I enjoyed this next area they land in. Zoro was already my favorite crew member, but this adventure solidified him as such.
@@travishesselman7464 im not sure if i have a fave. Sanji is behind the scenes clutch. But zoro delivers the one hitter quitter. Granted his fight in skypia left a bit to be desired. But i love all of em. Usopp this ep surprised me out of nowhere
@unclebobboomergames I personally find Zoro amusing. He's just so cool without trying. Even when he's being dumb 🤣. Usopp actually has some great moments, and he shined for sure in skypiea.

@@DaBLackKing for aaaaalllll the times i tried running in this game it has never worked. And when any single character runs, THE ENTIRE PARTY loses all defense and becomes "defenseless." And thatll be like a Kilo of damage
@@unclebobboomergames okay sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn’t but then i use the no encounter mode when I’m not mood or if i need to just get through with on what limited mp i have. But anyways I get u I understand the frustration of that as well. That’s why No encounter was invented.

Thought you might like to know the following: UA-cam revealed your channel to me on Feb. 14th. The video it chose to show was your watch along of episode 135. I've always wanted to watch One Piece, but it seemed like such a daunting task. Watching with you got me over the 100 episode hump. In the last six months, you have watched 54 episodes and still stuck on Skypiea 🤣 Meanwhile, I have blasted past and about to start episode 361. Deep in the fog and the most annoying laughs of Thriller Bark. To be fair, after watching with you I started skipping the intros and recaps and could easily watch four episodes in an hour. Anyway, thanks for getting me into One Piece. I will definitely be returning to see you reactions to an episode that made me cry like a baby many minutes after the 'to be continued' screen.
@@travishesselman7464 ya know i appreciate it a lot. These videos are of low quality but im glad it did something for someone out there. I may watch it faster when it ends but im fine with this pace. Mainly because i play old games, watch other shows (new season of dragon prince with the lady and code geass with my buddy) have kids and work and sht so this really is just a back burner show. Its perfect for it as well. I definately never want to catch up to the show. It better be over by the time i get there hahaha. Also ill probably be crying on whatever episode. I cried at the nami scene in arlong park, cried at kureha saying good bye to chopper, cried at the alabasta farewell...so theres a good chance ill be doing it on wherever youre thinking. Im feeling im gonna cry during some point at the end of this arc honestly. Im feeling it

I just found it amusing that I've gotten so into the show, that what I've watched in six months will probably be another two years for you 🤣 I was doing four eps a day everyday before work for quite awhile there, but have slowed down since getting to Thriller Bark. One Piece is the only show I'm currently watching, so I definitely need something else to watch. Never heard of these shows you mention, I'll have to look into them.

So what’s up? I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll tell you the spoilers of how it felt to me about One Piece…. Well after like 1 hundred something or other in Skypia after that it just felt like they was being lazy…. Just holding back nothing was as it was…. It just felt like I don’t know how to describe even if I could spoil it…. Believe me it’s interesting but who knows maybe it’ll start picking back up again soon I don’t know… for now though I’ve been taking a break from for several weeks it’s that bad…. At least it is for me and many others that have been where I have anyways…. Keep up the good work….
Im just tackling em one week at a time. 2 eps a pop. I know ive heard every other major arc is padded out. Skypia. Thriller bark. Fishman island. Whole cake island. I know how anime does things of this era. At very least im watching the series at like 2.5 times speed. If i were doing it week to week i prolly would have fked off
