Lac Léman - Swiss Riviera Cruise

We took a second lunch cruise on a Lake Geneva steamboat. This one departed from Vevey, but we boarded two stops early in our town, Cully, and it was the same boat for the cruise. It went to Montreux (where I sang the opening lines to Smoke on the Water with the Grand Hotel in the background) and a few other stops. We crossed briefly into French waters, making it our fifth time in France.

We did a lunch cruise on Lake Geneva. It departed from Lausanne, so we took the ten minute train ride there from Cully. The ship steamed, and it was a real steam ship, to Vevey-Marché, the town Charlie Chaplin spent the last twenty-five years of his life, while we enjoyed lunch. We took the train to Thun and boarded a ship for two hours on the lake.

We rode the gondolas seven thousand feet to the summit, enjoyed the views, had a nice lunch, and came back down.

The Reuss River is the fourth longest in Switzerland, and begins at this very old dam that controls the height of Lake Luzerne.
Lake Como Ferry

We took the ferry from Varenna to Menaggio and back. Lunch was at La Trattoria Costantin.

The movie poster was released in the fall of 1996, so I think it's fall.
I believe so. I’m sure it wasn’t winter or summer. And I doubt this is spring, but I honestly can’t remember.

Discovered them in 1979 while DJ-ing at the ABC Liquor in Crystal River, Flori-DUH. Would sleep outside with a quad Bose 901 setup as my alarm and would wake to KRAFTWERK's "Man Machine" cranked to 'wake the neighbors a half-mile away.' Always put a smile on my face. Seeing them in this video is amazing. I got to see them live in Manchester, once, in '92, while stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. Great job with the videography!! Sounds is perfect!

That was actually part of their original concept. To not have to be there. There’s actually a portion of this show tour where they bring out the robots and heaven them “perform”

They don't even have any new songs - just remixing and rehashing of old stuff. I actually think their remixes are a bit embarrassing, and very dated now. Come on guys, give us some totally NEW MATERIAL!!!

Once Florian died, Kraftwerk was over for me.
Florian left kraftwerk in 2006.
Ой, да ладно. Kraftwerk, последние десятилетия только и выпускали различные релизы своих старых хитов. А тот же Бартос больше сделал для развития идей своей старой группы, в своих сольных альбомах. Жалко только, что их было слишком мало, даже с учётом совместных проектов.

I loved this band so much....years ago ! But now, always the same songs, always the same stage, always the same show. Please KW, get out of your comfortable couch and comfortable bank account and compose new songs, new lights shows !
All old bands find a formula and stick to it because that's what 99% of the public wants on their one viewing of the band

Won't happen. Hütter is managing and conserving the legacy. Also he is a perfectionist. 8 Albums. 8 is the perfect number for 4/4 music. Why would he compromise it with a 9th album? He seems to be compulsive about it.
