    I always turn Talkback sounds and vibration off as I can use my phone efficiently without the sounds which do get on my nerves. Also, have you tried image description in TalkBack 15? I've noticed that you are using a Samsung phone and they haven't updated TalkBack to the current version. My favourite keyboard is Microsoft keyboard as it has better word suggestions. I use to use GBoard but the suggested words are not working as they once did since the update and autocorrection is no longer working either. This for me renders the keyboard useless.

    The robots were fake. They were remote controlled and a human was talking, not AI.

    • @GlidingThroughBlindness-zs2bt
      @GlidingThroughBlindness-zs2bt 23 години тому

      Yes, it was later confirmed they were teleoperated, but the point of the event was to show a vision of the future, much like the iPhone release used four different phones to show various tasks that would all be able to eventually be done by one phone. Or much like the new Glide device for the blind shows videos of things they hope to achieve in future. That's the nature of how tech is promoted.

  • @karie2794
    @karie2794 4 дні тому

    The robots were remote controlled, and the cars had to drive through a Warner Bros set rather than being able to even handle a real road (both vehicles were very visibly incapable of handling real roads due to poor design that prioritized looks rather than functionality). I find it incredibly disappointing how not only does Tesla/Elon consistently feel the need to lie about their products, but the public keeps forgiving them. And then they take that good will and use it to continue to get unjust political and economic advantages.

      I will say, it's not like there's no value here, there are some cool components, but they take that inch and run a mile with it in a way that no other company can get away with. Every other company that makes cool niche advancements gets overshadowed by the false but eyecatching claims.

      @@karie2794 I wouldn't say hyperloop was an obvious stunt for publicity. I think people like Elon just love to try new things, and not everything succeeds. But the stuff that does has a huge pay-out. Anyway, thanks for giving me some ideas for a future vid. :)

    If they can intergrate the Be My Eyes AI feature, then I will be rushing out to purchase these glasses. The live scene feature has been tested on the Envision Glasses and I don't think we will see it rolled out until the spring of next year. Either way, we have a lot to look forward and they will assist us in so many ways.

    Sure we might be able to make millions of robots, but will anyone actually want them to feed the hungry? lol. I doubt it. Just wanted to get that out there, that simply having the technology doesn't mean people are suddenly going to be motivated to give things to the poor, for free. So now you have my prediction in writing.

      But even if the government or restaurants don't want to get involved, it'll be so much easier for charities or churches to do big things that actually accomplish something in the real world. More food will be able to be grown and delivered to a lot more places, more easily. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

    Bet it really quite liberating for you. Interesting that it takes a blind person to make me realise just how ground breaking the meta glasses are. I’ve watched a lot of reviews and nobody has mentioned just how useful they could be to the sight impaired. I think meta is missing a trick not advertising that. I ruled them out as a gimmick that would be obsolete soon , as sighted person. But to a visually impaired person especially those that cant read braille they could be a real game changer. Oh i must add that they suit you.

We were friends for a short while and fell in love. Now our relationship has elevated to a deep friendship that is the binding heartbeat of our love for each other. I do believe many call casual acquaintances friendship, which may or may not be the true meaning of friendship. I have many friends, but friendship in my opinion is deeper. Just my thoughts
