Doesn't feel as catchy as the original, it feels like something you'd here in a dialog cutscene for sonic rush.
Yeah I actually struggled for a while with this one because it was very hard to get the same vibe and energy of the chiptune using more modern instruments (It's a problem I have with Kenseiden boss theme too, a remix which I never finished), so in the end I just gave up and decided to go for something different, more uh... ambient(?) with a sneaky theme
Someone gotta point out that crocomire sounds like titanosaurus
Well... Fun fact, the sample I used at the start of the song IS from Titanosaurus edited to sound more like Kraid and Croco in the game :P

@@jaynine6380 Sorry I didn't get the answer but this is why I regret the PS2 version didn't include the Present Age from the Genesis port nor this era from the Master System one... You did a perfect job at giving it an arcade feeling to the ost.

I feel this would have been Yumeko's theme if she somehow makes a comeback in the Windows era. I love the base theme and that version is different in its way, I like it. :)
