ok i tried making this swordsmachine fight 3 minoses but uhh it kinda got obliterated (this is a swordsmachine propaganda channel, so we cant have that) i tried testing its hp with electric rail and it seems to take 22 shots to get it out of phase 1 and 10 more to kill it (so something like 256 hp?) although i mightve bungled it i wish there was some way i could grab it because hakita doesnt let me put down the fuckin minecraft barrier block and force it to stay inside its arena

it looks like a lot of swordsmachine's attacks are scaled to deal 10% of their nominal damage vs v1 to npcs, i suspect that the damage scaling is off on its sword throw attacks, which results in said throw attacks dealing 30 damage instead of 3, thereby allowing SM phase 2 to vaporise 75% of v2's health instantly

V2 doesnt have invincibility frames 😭

@@soopcanwastaken Im pretty sure it’s more like: V2 can’t dodge, and while it is tankier than v1, it is incapable of intentionally dodging, meaning that it eats the much easier to dodge but higher damage attacks. Basically, this is a consequence, not of the actual power a boss holds, but the fact that their AI and damage is balanced around fighting v1, despite the fact that they would realistically fight different enemies differently.

@@PrismTheLoser well yeah if v2 got through 4 layers of hell proper faster than v1 did, i assume that in reality it would have some form of intelligence and if we were to actually put swordsmachine up against one v2, the latter would handily beat it through a cool trick known as backing up and shooting (even if v2's damage was scaled down to account, its a something for nothing health trade so yeah) ofc this is all hypothetical and thus cannot be tested objectively in the context of the game, therefore as far as the game is concerned, the boss swordsmachine could wipe the floor with v2 despite being a lesser class of machine blah blah blah its just a video where i stuff enemies that would normally not fight each other into a box and soyjak react when the prelude one wins actually now that i read the thread i think that i commented from a perspective already set by another commenter (aouseh5496), who was more focused on the massive burst of damage that melted the remaining v2s in swordsmachine's second phase
