Lord, is it black to black, or black to white? Your video instructions on the wire connections is confusing! Please clarify. From what I gather, it's black to black, and white to red on BOTH lights. Is that correct? Also, I didn't get a drill template in my shipment!
Black to black, and white to red. And just in case, you cannot damage anything if they are connected backward. An advantage of LEDs. Can you shoot an email to orders@electricalconnection.com and we will email the template. Apologies for the omission.
Despite the headache of installation, I went ahead and ordered the kit because it's really a great idea.

Sooooo now my Factory puddle light doesn't work?
This kit replaces the factory light. Being under the bike, all it illuminates is the ground right under the bike. This kit illuminates what actually needs to be lit up.

Good info on the different type of wire. Most people wouldn't know to look for it.

Thanks for this announcement, I have Show Chrome, Kuryakyn, Goldstrike, lights and Muth Mirrors, running through a Show Chrome Isolator with Wago connectors so I am hoping to use your setup to be able to troubleshoot and make disassembly a little easier if I need service. I will definitely be taking a peek at the website next week.
