    Did the Cheshire's ever go to Afghanistan?

    • @themilitaryarchive347
      @themilitaryarchive347 2 дні тому

      Not as the Cheshires, no. In 2004, as a part of the reorganisation of the infantry, it was announced that the Cheshire Regiment would be amalgamated with the Staffordshire Regiment and the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment to form the new Mercian Regiment. In August 2007, the regiment became the 1st Battalion, the Mercian Regiment.

    If this is the French Canadian "Recon" unit that was at FOB Frontenac I'm glad that you all took a stroll outside of that wire once just to make sure that at the end of the entirely fraudulent and laughable period that you pretend to have served some amazing war time role you were in an agreement with the Taliban to not leave the FOB and to not disturb them and they would leave you in peace to sun bathe. Then when the American infantry arrived in the form of the 5th Stryker Brigade you proudly announced we don't ever leave the wire. You got angry and petty about the cowardice of your own unit and decided that you would literally complete none of your NATO and traditional my military duties to ya know provide Intel or even any of use.Cowards.
