I was diagnosed with a mild TBI, back in 2018. And believe me, there's nothing mild about it! I still experience symptoms. Even though, I was diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome, long ago.

I did a fall to the ground push-up in basic training in 1987. I blacked out and couldn’t hear for a minute, tore my right tfc, bilateral eye hemorrhage and I now have an old fracture on my C2. My eye dr said that I have all of the symptoms of a TBI.

I had a traumatic brain 🧠 injuries from past falls car accidents to the bridge collapse and fall from height from hitting the ground hard.

Hello Today is my Father's birthday he is 67 today, and sadly he had a car accident 19 years ago. he has issues with memory and his age. i am afraid that he is permanently disabled from his accident. he'll be this way until the day he dies. he can't remember the dates and every time my mom tells him what to do he will get annoyed or have violent outbursts. which is rare. the best place for my dad is to live in a senior home with other people who may have disabilities such as a stroke or Alzheimer's. it is sad when you have a parent who can't take care of themselves. even before my dad got sick he had a good personality to him, but was still obnoxious at times misogynistic. i wish my mother got remarried again but that will unfortunately never happen.

Whoa! I’m 3 1/2 years post TBI and still battling to understand and figure out where I could wind up after all of this. Just the first 3 minutes of this video has been incredibly meaningful. These words spoken by the doctor really resonated and described things the way I have found myself trying to describe to others life after TBI.

I had an elevator incident September 30th, 2020 in North Hollywood California and this and a lot more is still happening to me in November 29, 2024. I need to see about this TBI…. situation.

I was the victim of a fatal TBI back in 1967 as the result of a car accident in W VA. It's a long story that none of my others doctors took seriously, so in order to not bore you too much, I'll give you a brief synopsis. I was killed on impact, it took approx 10 minutes to get me to the ER where some hot shot doctor rescusutated me and brought me back to life. Former teachers and family have told me I was one of those super geniuses who in first grade of elementary school could talk theory and formulas with top scientists. I have no memory of the first seven years of my life, which is probably for the best part, because now I'm a fucking idiot. But, hey, some doctor got a big bonus, not to mention praise and free drinks on the greens. Nothing was said about how it turned me into a loser whom the medical establishment disregards and don't really care about my welfare. The govt don't care either. It took 20 years to get on social security and as for any assistance or subsidies, that ain't happening.

Tiny improvements each month and I do mean tiny, but that’s still improvement and the brain can heal just has to be given the right healing conditions: Quality Sleep, Proper Nutrition (meaning low inflammation & enough calaries), proper hydration, rest/no stress, exercise (within reason like steady state cardio) cognitive tasks but not too much Goodluck everyone you can do it consistently is your friend

I was hit by a mid-sized vehicle going probably 45 while I was parked in the roadside. I have felt mental issues and neurological issues, since. My brain is amazing and healing, but it sucked the life out of me for many moons now. And so my mind is having a hard time dealing with the crazy old lady who drove full speed I to me, while I was parked in roadside parking 5' from driving line; and now I just found out she's saying I was backing out, and now sueing me for 17k. I would take lie detector test, look at the evidence, and... I'm not doing suicide just because people suck.

I wonder why they don't have a sute that is radiation resident or no type of bunker. Why use something so dangerous for what just to take out the so called enemy. These people back then had no concept for consequences and really were stuck in an divided mind state.

I know people close to me when I see them but when I'm away from them I can't remember exactly what their face looks like anymore until I see them. Also with strangers or people I see once in a while I can't really remember them much anymore. I just found out I couldn't tell what my neighbor looks like who I been living next to for 6 months. It's like the familiarity recognition of details is gone

I’m just so over it ! My 8th concussion… I can’t drive having seizures … Finally 2 months sezuires free and then I fell Friday … bk to where I was 3 yrs ago.. Loss of memory, fear , wolke up didn’t know who I was again ! Balance issues , eye issues , migraines, sleep disturbance… everyday I have to get up and just try !!! Try to be best I can be :)

Hi Doc! I had TBI on my frontal lobe 6 years ago. Many symptoms have improved a bit, but my short term memory and processing information has decreased. I also dont have ANY motivation to do things, and I'm not interested in things. What can i do to improve this

Do you do consultation? Had a car accident in 2021 open head cut. Recovered within 8 months or so, no symptoms. Had another accident 1.8 months later in 2022. Less severe accident as far as speed and force but I'm not healing and is now almost 2 years now I can't shake the symptoms. I feel sick every day for two years...

Doc I only have one question....HOW DO I MAKE MY SKIN IMMMMMMPERVIOUS TO EXPLOSIONS?

This Dr's staff just treated me like a piece of trash after calling for consultation on treatment. They stated the Dr. Kraus would not see me period because I have a work related injury. Literally just happened 30 mins ago. My organs are starting to fail seven months after tbi and I'm was just looking for possible advice.
