Bro, your drumming is excellent!! Great video, beautiful studio!
Thanks for listening
lovely demo
@@HolbeckStill Thanks!
great stuff ! Love it and also the prices. Also shootout comparing to other ribbons in the same price range would be cool. But maybe there is a newer video ... ? ;]
Here is one, best ribbon for recording vocals and acoustic guitar at the same time? Thank you.
That is hauntingly beautiful Justin
Thanks for your kind words Jordan.
Thanks for the demos. It’s actually very useful to hear these comparisons.. 👍
Thanks for listening!
Incredible work Justin 🎉
Thanks Jordan!
Have you ever done a shootout with an R121 Vs the Grille ?
Awesome drumming - love the 7s and creative percussion sounds!
Thanks for listening
Great Drumming! Love the ribbons too!😊
Thanks a lot!
Would greatly appreciate if more creators would make available raw Wavs or mp3s of the sound from the video. Unfortunately UA-cam’s compression algorithm often makes these shootout videos a waste of time for the viewer. Another thing creators need to do on these videos is to please , at the end give your personal analysis , that way if the viewer is stuck at work or in public and can’t listen on a good device they can at least benefit from the creators wisdom. That being said, this particular video even on my iPhone with AirPods Pro , despite the UA-cam compression algorithms I can tell a difference between the ribbon and the U87, however the ribbons sound pretty close, I’m sure it’s been muddied a bit by both compression and my AirPods. Thanks for making the video I hope my comments don’t come across as complaints, I just have been making this same post when I encounter obviously gifted engineers who I’d like to have gotten at least your descriptions of what you hear before we send it all through the internet. Cheers
UA-cam supports high resolution (96/192Khz etc) PCM audio if you know how to format your file correctly. Most of the time, the author did a bad job formatting their video or they just have bad sounding gear. It's amazing how many reviewers are using low budget AD converters, poor cables, etc.
My video was formatted with an audio resolution of 24bit 48000Hz wave file.
I thought the Grille sounded the best of the ribbons
That was nuts! Deserves waaaay more views
Beautiful!! How do we call this type of music please?
Hi Manish, Thanks for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed it. It's jazz/funk style of music.
amazing!
Thanks Indyana
