Doc needed to rely on the natural course of time for Marty to eventually come to his laboratory by curiousity...all before events at that Mall . So in this untold story....Doc can't tell Marty about their 1955 meeting....not until his return to Lone Pines Mall plays out!

An underrated visual effects shot in a Zemeckis movie was in What Lies Beneath when the camera goes under the CG floor.

Nice video. If anything, it shows Zemekis is one of those directors that knew how to get the right stories that have the right moments to use VFX in a way that was innovative and unforgettable . It also showed he he had a knack for getting the right people to make those VFX happen

Imagine if you had a time machine and you wanted to go back and get comic books, baseball cards, and other collectibles from the past. That would be fun to walk into a pharmacy or magazine stand in 1939 and see a rack full of Detective Comics #27, like just grab a stack of 10 of them for a dollar. Then go to 1952 and buy a few boxes of 1952 Topps baseball cards with a couple of Mickey Mantle rookies in there somewhere. I think though you couldn't bring them directly back to the present because they would be too perfect, and people would think they were too new and counterfeit. You'd have to put them in a safekeeping place where they wouldn't get ruined or thrown away and could age naturally for 70-90 years, but still be in pristine condition.

Marty McFly may not be the smartest kid in Hill Valley, but you gotta admire his tenacity and skills. He’s got his own way of solving Doc’s riddles and has saved his wrinkled butt on more than one occasion.

I feel like these comics are a prelude to the animated series which mainly focuses on the Brown Family and their adventures across time. Doc was right when he said the boys would have time as their playground.

1) Wait, wasn't Marshall Strickland shot by the Tannen gang? 2) I can imagine legends of Doc Marty and the DeLorean being told through the centuries.

The story of the meeting that launched an entire franchise of time travel!

Wow. Even when Marty is part of the USSR he still comes to Doc for help. 😂 Doc made the right move destroying his Time Machine and keeping the plans in his head.

It’s a shame that George McFly’s actor hates BTTF. He just doesn’t understand the fine art of the film and the ending of Part 1. 🥺
