I know it looks like that because there is a lot of selecting and clicking. But the combat is actually quite thrilling. There is something incredible about facing seemingly insurmountable enemies, putting a careful plan together and watching you vision play out. I hated screenshots of the game and therefore never gave it a try. One day I was bored (but patient) and wanted to try something new and so I have gave it a try.

@@joo_joo_eyeball the main issue I have is that it's so anti gears playing at that speed. I would have liked it better as an RTS like company of heroes

I liked the game, but the main issue for me is the lack of macro. Like there are only combats and thus many people tell that the game is repetitive (which is not totally wrong). Id like some base/convoy management. Maybe some map for the province where the game is happening with some activities, like xcom. Game is good, but have a lot of things to work on. Nice try for the first time in new ganre for the TC though

@@maksimkachar843 The game did get repetitive for me but only after 120 hours of play. There is so much variety in terms of squads/strats/skills/synergies that I don't blame the devs for not adding a base/convoy management component - although that would have been nice too maybe. But, as Steve Jobs says, 'Things are packages of emphasis'!

I thought the same thing bro but it just feels like gears. You throw grenades in the holes, sliding into cover, reviving, chainsawing which gives you the cutscene and insane buffs, executions on downed drones.

Thx! I don't perfectly remember the run but there are obviously seconds to grind all along the run. But mainly you can (it's not easy :p) one-cycle the dragon in stage 4 (I was 1 hit down there), that cost me around 40sec to kill the mobs that spawned.

You can use continues. There is no forum/discord I know to discuss strategy, but you can ask your questions on the src forum of the game or by dm on src. @@preucheu2861 thanks for the reply ! I never speedruned any game, but i love this game from my childhood so i want it to be the one i start running. I saw a video of all bosses killed with no damage taken but i dont know if it was TAS or not, what do you think? I also want to aim for a at least no deaths and no continues on hard. Ill study your strategy to learn the crucial skills. i also have a question, the jump sword attack can hit multyple targets at once and i think i has potential in some cases, i also noticed that its possible to use the jump sword attack and instantly go in the dive kick from it, but still dont know how (i smash buttons lol), you know how to do it? also the block is not used maybe theres some situation it can be usefull (kinda slow i guess)? i think the staff mini boss is hard to beat , what patterns you noticed about him ? Also the power ups you find in chests are not usefull at all, dosent it make the sword kill faster ? thanks man

@@lo0ksik For multiple sword attacks during a jump, I press jump and attack at the same time and keep the attack button pressed while in the air. During the first blow animation in the air you can press a direction while keeping the attack button pushed for a divekick. Concerning blocks I never used it so I have no opinion about it x) I feel like it would be a waste of time but maybe not. For the staff boss I try to put him on floor with a divekick, then everytime he is on the floor I try to go on the middle of his sprite and spam attacks in the good direction. I don't know if it's the best technique but I find it ok, his patterns are weird tbh. Otherwise during my runs I try to maximize the "range attack that consumes life" while not dying xD, I think it's the fastest way to kill mobs. Another tip: during the dragon boss fight you have to take care of its position before performing a "super" attack, its hitbox is on the top half of the sprite ( I dont know exactly where ) and it pretty often goes off the screen so its easy to waste your ammunitions and make the fight way longer ^^.
