Kurt Russell was such a great choice to play Herb Brooks. Although, he became a famous actor at a young age, his dream was always to be a professional baseball player and he probably would have achieved it if injuries had not derailed his career. (He played in the California Angels minor-league system). So Russell knew all about motivating young athletes and pushing them to their limits so they could achieve their potential. If only they had included the "if you lose this game you're going to take it to your fricking graves" speech Brooks gave during the Gold-Medal game against Finland. They were losing at the time. It would have made Miracle a perfect movie.

Jesus Christ, enough already. This was supposed to be the turning point for USA hockey. You’ve won exactly ZERO Olympic gold medals since’80. Just look at the roster & coaches, 1 player from that team went on to have a half decent NHL career ( Ken Morrow ) & Herb Brooks was a terrible NHL coach. How many more decades are you going to milk this win?

Seems to be the one thing that generation x gets away with....no scandals; no ruination of hero and still stands up to a whole lot of childhood reality of the day.

I met Herb Brooks in 1993 at a NJ Devils Christmas party when he was the coach and I was a lowly front office intern. I got the chance to talk to him and tell him what it had meant to me as a 12 y/o to watch all those games at 80' Olympics and the impact it had on me watching them beat the Russians. He was so gracious in speaking with me. You can see the pride on his face as he told me about coaching those players and the difference in coaching the pro athletes. Such a great memory that I will cherish forever!

This movie was an incredible undertaking, but well worth it. Everyone who was a part of making it should be proud of themselves. Great movie, amazing story.

This movie deserved several Academy Award nominations and wins. Kurt Russell hands down should have gotten Best Actor for this. Like the Team this movie never gets old.

I dont care what anyone says .this is there real lives and the movie is them pretending to be actors .they all really existed in the hearts and minds of so many of us and thats because that's who they really are final !!!😁

When movies were real .Not overdone with far fetched moves or cgi or over the top violence or filled with sexual filth it was just a real good movie with characters who could not have been replaced by anyone they were suited and the best for the roles .I love cobra kai they have touched the memories of so many of us 80s kids and the references to things only we would know its got all those emotions going from the heart touching moments to excitement seeing Johnny and Daniel or any of the fights you always wondered about taking place .Johnny and Daniel double knock out that was perfect cos they are both great characters .thankyou guys for such great movies and seasons i cherish these memorys
