Victoria Day is actually the designated Canadian holiday to celebrate the current living monarch, we just don't change the name or the day. But it used to be that it was name and date changed every reign, and sometime in the early 1900s they agreed to standardize it and name it after Victoria as she was the first monarch celebrated in this way.

Calvin I really hope you're wrong about the future of bowling in Canada, but I think that you sadly are correct. Not many youth, and certainly too few interested in moving on to adult leagues.

It is 100% about growing the community and supporting the game. I cannot even begin to explain how much what happened has pissed me off. I spend a lot of time developing systems and assets and I share them FREELY to other streamers who want to try to improve their product - for one simple reason :: it helps all of us. It helps the sport, it AIMS to try to get more traffic into bowling alleys - pure and simple. I don't do it for the money, I've turned down money folks have offered me. Correction :: I share them with ALMOST every streamer that wants to improve their products as I clearly now have an exception. So many mixed emotion are going through me right now. I suppose I'll just say the one positive thing. Congratulations to Charlie for his 4 bagger. It doesn't happen very often and when it does the feeling is absolutely amazing. Honestly I wish I could say the same to that, unfortunately the only 4 bagger I ever threw was in practice so it didn't count for anything. Lol. I have even considered starting to stream as well. But after hearing what was going on I think I'll hold off for now.

The nicknames are bizarre to me. I agree with Tim. Especially if they make no sense, or were just arbitrarily made up by one commentator and then screamed at the microphone every time they throw a ball.

If the guy on the right is waiting for a pin to stop rolling that keeps rolling back and forth, there’s no reason why the guy on the left can’t throw his ball. To speed up the process.

the only reason i wait for the person on my right in another match is to give me time to figure out if they are a kicker with their back foot, because i throw a low ball from the right and could easily hit them. once i know their style and rhythm i just go to not cut them off.

Tim here’s how I would’ve handled the discrepancy. If the tie was for first and or 4th have a roll off. If there was tied for second, and /or third split the money equally amongst the teams. So in your case since five teams tied for second add up the money that would’ve gone to second third and fourth divided by five and those teams get an equal share of the money so you don’t have to deal with somebody possibly adding wrong or typing in a wrong number in the computer spreadsheet.

I haven’t made it 30 seconds in to the video and I’m already disappointed with Tim because he said that the cowboys were going to lose as i picked them to win. The only loser on the cowboys was that kicker who missed 4 straight extra points in a row.

Someone create a tourny with Calvin's idea but instead have say like 10 captains and do a draft of 5 person teams and make it a weekend tourny and allow trades up until a trade deadline....think it would work

There absolutely needs to be accountability for being inebriated during a tournament like that. And as a captain, doesn’t matter of age, you have to control your team and step up and do something if it’s an issue. I watched the first string of that specific match, and the anchor bowler would throw his ball and then have to grab onto the ball rack to hold himself up while the bowler beside him throws his ball. He misses the ball rack and falls over while the other bowler is in his windup and you have even bigger issues and potential injury. Then what happens?

I don't know Brenda personally but Debby Purdy is just lighting it up in all her leagues right now and I was so happy to see her in the top 10 of this tournament. When i arrived in the morning she was top average after 4 strings.
