1960 Butler Built Boat being raised on marine railway and power washed in the early morning sun
It sounds like a PT BOAT..
That boat is dope!!!
What lake is this
10 gallons every 20 minutes.
Beautiful boat
Stunning in every way!
Love, all you need is a water skier behind you!!❤
GTA 5
Love the Chesapeake, especially the crab houses.
Beautiful boat and very nice music!
Every day in the shop with Mr B is a perfect day!
Thanks Matt for taking us for a ride.
Love the video but I'd much rather hear the engine than the music.
Enjoy! Bruiser sure dide
Keep em coming
Thank you Matt for the relaxing ride.
Thanks for watching! There will be more soon.
Like a pro!
Like your supposed to do it
I was fortunate to see this boat (right next to a Ford tri motor airplane and a large Jeep with a Ferrari 12 cylinder engine in it) inside a giant warehouse in Sparks Nevada when William Harrah was still alive - they were working on it and I was able to see the engines (from a P-38 Lightning aircraft) they said the originals were some kind of marine diesels it is and amazing work of art
I wish I could give this more than one Thumbs Up! Absolutely classy and beautiful boat.
Small correction, those are PT Boat engines. Related to, but not the same as Aircraft engines
They are not PT boat engines. PT boats used Packard 2500 marine engines. They never used Allison engines. The Allison engines in Thunderbird came from a P-38 fighter plane.
@@barryervin8536They did? I thought the PT boats had the Allison. Thanks for correcting me.
NO DRAMA I won’t be watching anymore of your crap
Good job mate 👍
Damn, hearing that thing makes me want to buy a bottle of Canadian hooch...
What drama? Pretty good job, I’d say.
I’ve seen more drama in a tooth paste tube.
Grew up hanging out/working at a marina as a kid through teenage years. Seen a lot of boat names. Some cheezy like a dad joke, some named as if they were a strong spirited person. The name of "Thunderbird" fits that vessel well. I like old wooden vessels.
No drama a true professional, tried to use the wind, with no help. Second attempt was perfect. These straight shaft boats are not easy in close situations, they do NOT back up straight. I have experience.
PT boats at the time were 77' - 80' depending on builder with three 1200HP Packard V-12s. What an amazing bit of history this boat is.
Very interesting boat)))
Love the sound of those inboards. Sweet boat
🇺🇸👍🏻
Very very nice boat
You boat tease, Shame on you. Where is more footage of this thing.
Didn't see it get out of hole
I had some friends back in college who had a big wood boat (not as big as this one) that they called the “earthmover!” It was awesome.
Straight shaft with rudder with a tailwind wanting to push the stern one way or the other. The slower you go the less headway for the rudder to affect steerage. I’d say this operator did an excellent job.
Before the V1710 aircraft engines, Allison actually built marine specific V12s - IIRC the made exactly eight of them. They were jewels of engineering, even more so than the V1710s in many respects.
Oh no just go ahead and take a 3 sec vid of it idling we didn't want to see it rev out
I use to see this boat on Lake Tahoe "North Shore" ALL the time. Beautiful Boat.
Okay...very nice boat...TWO v12....how did you shoe-horn that in??? Edit: Nvm, just saw other vid of inside the belly.
Awe....where is the video of gettin' after it?!?
Definitely A Nice way to feed Plants their CO2 plant food
If you lack tact, then use speed.
Add vertical loading polls to the trailer
If you like getting your varnished wood boat scraped...😮
That is outstanding
Well that spaeked a response!
Gorgeous.
The guy that owns that boat must have a really tiny dick !!! !
Exhaust was getting warm before water came out.
