Sounds like Pastor Ted may lean toward an a-mill theology. I am post-trib and totally agree with the "avoidance of suffering theology" comment. I like the way he lays out his views and it's practical advice for how we live as believers.

Today I decided my struggle with my faith ends today. Today I sat in a new church all on my own that called to me when I walked by randomly and I felt I finally found my place with God. As I’m coping with a difficulty in my life this video also popped up on my Facebook page today and I just wanted to thank Pastor Ted. Just watched the full video and it was inspiring and has helped a lot. Thank you and God bless x

What is sad is that now that Ted has actually something of real value to say, the church is no longer listening to him. The condition of the American church's heart is troubling. You have all these men that act perfect because they know how to hide their mess and they hide their mess for good reason, because its clear people will crucify you the minute they realize you are human too. When Ted went through his situation...i finally felt I could now listen to him deeper and I used to drive from Denver to Colorado Springs for years to attend New Life. Unfortunately it was the same time the church were trying to make it seem like he and his family never existed...as if New Life just fell from the sky...as if the transformation of Colorado Springs from a ministry graveyard to mini Bible belt happened without Ted's contribution. They took the Primary Purpose one of the most equipping books for young ministers planting a church on hard ground. Being in the church once you are in leadership you better have a mask, because if the people ever found out you struggle with weakness of any kind, the same people that want to associate with you when you are on top will be the ones that will finish you off when you've been hit. . I truly believe nothing reveals a person's character more than how he or she reacts or responds to the revealed weakness of another. Nothing.
