This was actually my first fight with it - I crafted it at rank 3 because sims said it was still an upgrade. I noticed my combustion numbers are bigger which is cool and it's sorta interesting to setup, but the thing that I'm nervous about is losing DPS to it when I have to iceblock. Iceblock counts as a frost spell and if I rune within 10 seconds of it I may proc DC by accident and not have it up for my combustion. Otherwise it's pretty good so far!

@@thingmabobby Makes sense. That was my worry with it as well as it can proc in weird times and you have to watch it a ton more vs the fire and forget method of fevered. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it!

@@tharxsilverarrow So far we're 5/10M raiding 6 hours a week.

ToS was rough. It felt like we needed a ton of immunities in our raid comp for most fights. Most of them were very punishing if a single person made a mistake and the RNG of some abilities were a little poorly designed (e.g. having to move the avatar maiden on the complete other side of the room during an aoe cutting off a bunch of the raid and missing the dps check). Mistress was a roadblock for sure as well. KJ took us a while, but we were having roster issues and people just kept losing focus. I thought it was a great fight, but it did have very punishing mechanics. As for frost something needs to be done to prevent the 15 frostbolts in a row gameplay that sometimes happens. I think we were decent in ToS and we'll still continue to be next raid. We probably won't be top DPS on most fights though. I'm taking a break from WoW for a bit because I've felt pretty burned out by it. I might be back sometime during Antorus, but I can see myself not playing until next expansion too.

I think our guild grabbed it off of one of the weakaura websites and customized it. Everyone had the same one

He is having focused target on top, as you can see. So it's probably a trigger set on "focus" instead of target, using a regular debuff WA :)

lol yeah I am using something similar in having a focus target debuff, but this looks a lot better and easier to see. Was just hoping to steal it. Ha

Yeah Thingy, if you dont mind i would love to use that weakaura for the stacks if you willing to post it for us. I am working on Avatar tonight our second nite of attempts on it and even tho we have a weakaura it is a big one, rather have something like urs,

Nope it's not worth it. Only use blizzard on 2 or more targets.

Yeh if you have the legendary belt then you should use blizzard on ST when you have full stacks and running the Artic Gale Talent.

Fire Mage looking very promising for next raid due to the new tier bonus they get.

Increased critical strike damage passive

Almost everyone I know that plays frost at a high level starts w/ the ebonbolt into flurry into il, then orb and go on from there as usual.

Portgiven with 4 set t20 a lot frost mages switched to new opener, It buff your opener up and you get a frozen orb back up pretty quick

What I would like to know is what you mean in your post specifically about "new opener". i.e the rotation. I'm assuming you are talking about getting your orb out before Ebonbolt to gain the 20% critical damage, but I'd like to know the specifics as opposed to the rotation that Portgiven had posted above.

Not on single target unless you have to move and have no shimmer/ice floes charges or procs to use while moving.
