As a runner on rural roads I've had this a number of times. Frighteningly, it was cars coming towards me. On one occasion the driver had his hand out of the window shaking his fist at me. I discovered why one day when such a driver stopped: they thought it was illegal to run on the road. Obviously that's wrong, but to attempt to injure or kill me as a reaction to that is seriously deranged.

This sort of pondscum driver is fairly representative of a fairly significant minority of British Drivers.

That's deadly. I'd have stopped and did what needed doing. I'd lose my mind from anger. And if you don't report this, you are part of why this keeps happening. I've reported easily 2 dozen people for somewhat similar things. And I follow the laws when biking to a T. I record front and back views as well. I've sent so many videos to the Sheriffs and gotten results more times than not. Today it's so easy to just email them the vid. They go find them, then email back when they either arrest or fine them and tell me when I need to be at court. I've been hit twice, the most recent making it so I need a bilateral hip replacement and others small broken bones. And drifted into while in traffic by ppl on their phones not paying attention. But when they try to do me harm or harass if I can't get to them to get ahold of them I report them. You HAVE to do it. Please don't be lazy guys if that happens. I live in a TINY little US state in New England with the largest city with 50k or something(10k where I live at most)and each summer there are dozens of hit and runs on bicyclists and pedestrians on the side of the road in the state. Imagine it's so much worse in populated areas. Shit has to stop. When I'm driving going around a bike is nothing. It's like going around a car but easier. Do you sperg when you have to go around every car? No. So grow the f up dummies with anger issues. Or leave earlier with plenty of time to your destination like adults.

Bunch of "I assume the cyclist did something illegal that they were trying to get away from" comments... You car brains obviously don't cycle... Cars will run you off the road for no reason other than you passed them in traffic and they think you should have to "wait your turn" despite the law saying otherwise. I'm not saying there's no way this cyclist didn't do anything, but just because you don't run bikes off the road doesn't mean road rage drivers don't. The car could have seriously injured the cyclist at 00:30 and it's wild to me that you blame the cyclist despite having no evidence against them. Roads are for everyone, not just cars.

I think those type of cycle lanes are balderdash and don't benefit the cyclist. You are meant to take a primary position for the sake of visibility and avoid drains and things, but these type of cycle lanes force you into the gutter.

A typical occurrence for a lot of cyclists, so many people go insane when behind the wheel of a vehicle. Drivers seem to be delusional and believe there are no consequences for their actions.

I always find it strange how some drivers have no time to overtake at the correct place but have enough time to stop and escalate their feelings as in this case when the driver is totally in the wrong, I hope this footage is picked up by police and the car driver receives their just desserts. I hope this driver tries this on "cash for crash con artists".

She can't drive into you by cutting you off, you though can drive into her side as she drives infront of you which you can prevent by hitting the brakes. Instead of braking you hit her car. Hitting a car is stupid as it will instill anger in the driver which happened . You then tried to go down her inside which again was stupid after what happened, antagonising her even more. cyclist at fault he liable to prosecution has no hi viz or lights to show road user he is on the road in the shadow he didn't make no hand signals to which way he was going .if he calls the police have him prosecuted for breaking the highway code :)

Shite Road positioning, sun at your back, speed, all contributing to this. Had you a) slowed down and B) not cut Across the roundabout (kept left) , the car would have a much better chance of seeing you and you would have had time to react to them.
