When a bad decision turns into a great one
btw when you are UTG and the guy next to you raises like that its almost always AA/KK/AKs, so if i were you i would probably fold most of the time or reraise then fold but even at that he will just jam anyway
Jeez these comments. We're not all phil ivey you know
maybe if you weren't so bad you could have seen a flop with a bunch of dead money in it. instead you thought "hey, i'll jam against an early position re-raise. And hope to be up against A-K, which can still beat me easily or J-J which I have crushed.
This was one of those plays where it would have been great to know opponents range. The pre-flop raise did what it had to do and pushed out everyone to where you were heads-up; pretty ideal. But what wasn't ideal was opponent's re-raise and being in position. I've lost in this scenario a handful of times.
Its ok, if u had AA, villain would have sucked out with 88 so it doesnt really matter what u had. If they want u out they will bust u out.
ignition what stakes, do you play cash, would love to play with a fish like you
I’d love to see some cash game play too 👍
1. Why do you limp with 266bb 2. Just call and bet big on turn when flash draw misses
You should've lost
? He is equity favorite there
@@naregdavidian8876 I think that is his point, should you all in if a coinflip is your best outcome. Only one overcard would not have called and against a higher pocket pair you are not getting 20% so statistically speaking: you do this play two times and you are on your way back home
Poker is not dead
5bb open ^^ fish!!! and then crying losing variance
I don't think that bet is that bad. But to go all in was a bad decision.
@@EmpereurIV at most it should of been a 2-2.5bb open raise.....
"im pretty confident" two seconds later "aw aces, i knew it!"
Sorry for your misery but i cannot stop laughing after your opponent opened his cards😂
"maybe nobody will play and i get the blinds that would be nice", YOU have QQ and u dont want action??!!!! You are horrible
With 4BB without a doubt you have to shove
Nice
Totally the right play with 88 and a short stack. Just got unlucky. Thanks for putting these up man! I hope you keep winning and put more up.
Call, raise, re-raise all-in. I'd instafold as you also don't know how the early caller is going to react to your shove. I would have assumed I'm up against at least AK or KK somewhere. Still, a nice aggressive play from you. I imagine it must be tough being your opponent! 😂
Some really interesting hands here. With the overcard out there and the two clubs, the shove might have been a bit reckless, especially as you do it against two opponents. One of them could easily have hit top pair or be hoping to make a flush and would have the right odds to call. It was an unlucky hand as your opponent had BOTH top pair and flush draw. In his place, I'm calling an all-in every day of the week. I wonder if you could have played it more gently and then tried to shake him off at the turn? 🤔 Really enjoying these!
Lol. That was a big move on your part. Perhaps it was a bit too strong though. Big early re-raise like that and you're usually against AK, AA, KK or maybe AQ/AJ. Better to either fold or smooth call and see the flop and then play from there - although it does mean you'd have been out of position. Tricky one.
Good play. This is an interesting hand as I think your opponent also played well as he knew you were short stacked and therefore likely to be shoving with a much wider range of hands so calling with AQ was probably the right play. I'm glad it worked out for you. Definitely the right play on your part.
Do you think it was the right play?
In hindsight, no lol. But even if we just raised to the flop, I was still doomed since they had the bigger over pair. I'm successful more often than not with JJ, and had only about 12ish blinds, so had to take a stab at it. Of course, it was my most despised QQ starting hand that took me down.
Understandable
I thought Pocket 10s were coming lol
There's always that looming horrifying thought on hands like these lol
Question: Do you live off your poker earnings or is it something you do as a hobby? I enjoy watching your vids. Keep it up.
I would LOVE to be able to play poker as a full time job, but as of now it's more of side income. One of these days though. And thanks for enjoying the content!
ouch
It would have been if I had stayed in it. So lucky......
nice hand,
Not even a bluff catch at this point. The board is Q 2 7, you raised 7x or something big on the flop which would eliminate any Q2, 72, & Q7. Only 2 hands that beat you. Pocket 7s and pocket 2s. If they hit the set here, they get the money. You have to call every single time, or you will be exploitable.
Took them to school 🤭🤭🤭
this site and all the others not regulated are so rigged
You must not play enough poker. I had those thoughts too in the past, but I came to the realization that I simply wasn't as good as I thought I was. Poker is always going to be "rigged", whether you play online, at a casino, or at a gathering with friends. Once I realized that, I started working on improving my game and have become far more successful than I used to be.
True
you suck at poker bud
You don’t have to check. You could’ve made a decent C bet to get weaker Aces to fold
No
Why?
@@mikeluka5225 because if a station calls with Ax and hits an Ace, they're not folding.
Not ideal with 3 other callers preflop, to a fairly large open size. Good chance at least one of them has an A.
Cbet is fine but ur not gonna get an ace to fold
You should have shoved pre flop
No cuz villain still would have called.
Why would they shove 200+BB all in against a limp?
