Gila Monster rescue off active roadway in Arizona
Why was there any water in the bed?
So the granite installers were able to just set the granite on those cabinet bases without needing a plywood sub-base? I ask that because the sink is flush with the top of the cabinet base.
I was thinking the same thing?
I have a Peragon on my Silverado since 2020. Its just okay, the biggest issue I have is packing my truck bed full to go on a family trip. With it all the way open in the forward position folded up you can't pack stuff up against the cover when its folded because when you go to pull the cover closed it will jam up against the stuff you have packed in the bed. So if you want to pack your bed fully you have to pack your bed with the cover closed so then you have to use something like a stick or broom handle to push your stuff all the way forward toward the cab. And if the cover is closed it makes it hard to stack items in your bed like luggage, bags lawn chairs fishing gear etc because you can't reach that far forward to stack items. Then when you get to where your going to unpack your truck, you can't open your cover because it won't fold forward because of all the stuff you have in your bed and the stuff that's packed all the way forward won't allow the cover to fold open because the cover folds inward in a downward position and all your stuff in the bed won't allow it to fold open. Hope all that makes sense, its just something I didn't think of when I bought the cover. But it's a reason why I am considering replacing mine with something else that folds upward and not inward like the Peragon. We always use my truck for family trips and packing and unpacking the bed is an issue with that cover.
How do you know if you are getting the "new reinforced splitter wedge" from Amazon? They have them on sale. I want the newer one only. Does it have a part number that I can verify with?
Guess you don't need windshield wipers in Arizona 😆
Beautiful truck
I love it
My 56 and both of my 57s have the small windows. You get a little more shade and privacy going down the road.
I would never do it this way. make a template.
Having issues with mine also. worked for hour & 1/2 then choked up ...not to start again.
Hey any chance you still have that link ?? Please share
Is there a swtich for turning the electricity on?
Man I really like that red. I have the same truck but it’s that hydro blue. I’m kinda wanting that red now lol. Good looking truck sir and thank you
does not move the wood. Do you have to fill worh oil all the way?
Awesome review 👏 Thanks
I could have been fixed. Not that it was wrong to return it. Just saying that it could have been reinforced from behind. Have to drain oil first.
If you are ever interested in selling it...
Did you get another one with the reinforced wedge? Working ok now? In this original video when it took a few hits to split some hard pieces was that done at part throttle? Would full throttle split them the first attempt? Thanks. Great videos.
I bought a much heavier duty tractor hydraulics system powered one. This one is fine for wood like pine and even smaller mesquite but cotton wood and eucalyptus killed it fast. I will say that Amazon took it back with no problems and refunded all my money fast with free return shipping. It’s worth a try is you have lighter wood. I heard from the maker that they have reinforced the wedge and frame better. I have to say I love my heavy duty new one
$1000 is not bad
I bought one of these a few days ago, i thought i was fairly good at putting things together when there is video/detailed instructions. Until i got this, took me and another person about 6 hours total to figure out how to properly install it without it binding, had to put a bunch of extra washers in the back to level it out. Other than that it seems great once installed. One thing i moticed, if you are going through an automated carwash with the cover unlocked, the cover opened up from the pressure of the air dryers. So make sure you have the thing locked up before going through one of those 😂
😢😢😢
Uh I do finish carpentry for a living and the way you’re doing it is one way ? But a scribe should be the sink itself to get a dead nuts on fit! Once you scribe with something other than what goes there it’s a line ? And then adjusting the line leave room for error and accumulated error such as stair scribes! It worked out however just scribing the material is good ? If you was your scribe to hv room quickly, use a carpenter pencil those angles are flat 1/4, side 1/2, diagonal 5/8”’s . So u hv a scribe in your hand!
How do the reverse flood lights work mounted that way? I have been thinking about doing that myself, but you are the first person I have seen mount them like that.
Hooked to back up lights
Idk about color of truck on screen Storage generally sucks in pic ups Tremor graphic does suck , I removed it in dealers lot Our 22 rear seat has strap on seat latch
Hey Sir! This is Cherry from Coverado selling car accessories. Nice to meet you! We are now looking for some partners to try our F-250 seat covers and help us make a video. Are you interested in collaborating with us?🥰
What brand hitch is on your Tremmor. Looks good.

I have an 2022 f250 with less then 200 miles front drive train behind the front tires Rusted universal joints rusted it’s terrible to me this is a big deal not just cosmetic as the ford garage said rrrr it’s a brand new truck this is bull Sh**
Appliance paint right away. After two years mine still looks new
Peragon Owner here. Here’s the things I don’t like about Peragon style covers: 1-You do need that space below the end of the cover to be empty, otherwise something might obstruct the folding of the panels and it won’t open, even if it’s empty, something might slide underneath while driving and you’ll have to crawl inside to move away whatever is obstructing the process of the panels folding downwards for it to open 👎🏼👎🏼 2-The weather feature is junk. With time passing and sun burning the foam seals (not rubber, they are foam), eventually they will fail. This cover keeps water from entering the bed just by pressure, when panels fold together, there’s a piece of foam that “seals” the two panels, that foam is glued to one end of a panel and the another end of another panel just buts into it. Even if the cover is new, driving while a hard rain with the truck all over the road and it’s minimal bouncing, water will get in. Minimal water in the beginning and it will worsen over time. 3- When the cover is new, it rolls pretty smooth but that smoothness will be gone pretty soon, sometimes it will derail and you’ll need to fix that every time.
True I put a bed organizer up there with a cross bar to keep it in place and protect the cover when open from something sliding into the panels and bending them. Sure is a good looking cover tho
Great idea using the wash mitt to dust off the truck first 👍
Got a Amazon link for the light bar?
Nice review. You said that you had a little water leakage during a monsoon. How does it do in an automated car wash? Also, have you ever had anything slide forward and prevent the lead panel from dropping? Thanks!
I totally agree with you about the 57 pickups! I own a 57 also, but it’s a 4x4 Napco and I love it!
I’d be really curious what a guy could do on stock tires, rolling tongue cover…full delete/tune…full intake and convert the def tank to store water/ meth….. then go 55mph somewhere flat…I’ve heard rumors something like this happened and the guy netted 36mpg for a magazine Article they had teams driving the pickup between Arizona and Chicago…..
With 25,000 miles I’m getting 19 mpg on flat deserts with AC on at 70.

Is this the matte black XRP rugged finish? Thats the one i just ordered and curious as to what mine might look like once its up and lookin pretty.
Thanks for sharing, was just about to buy one of these think I'll hold off
What kind of truck bed liner do you have?
does the paragon cover leak? I'm in the market for one and that's my main concern
A little but not bad.
Say I load up the bed with luggage or other tall items. Won't the cover not be able to be opened if the cargo slides to the cab end of the bed being that it opens by folding down into the bed? The only thing holding me back is this idea of having to crawl into the bed to retrieve items because they are blocking the cover from opening.
Wow that’s actually a valid question I never thought about that.
Get an extendable cargo bed bar and place it up front. Nothing will slide past the bar.
Moving out to Phoenix Arizona looks like that would be great to have have to look into it
Drinking game for every time this guy says "fantastic" you'll die!
Any issues with it rattling or squeaking, etc. while driving around. Those types of noises bug the heck out of me, so I am trying to do my homework before buying. Great review. Thanks!
Do you happen to have the link to these lights?
You're doing the opposite of what most people do. Everyone thats them ugly, useless bumper guards and reverse lights off the valance to give the car a nice, clean look.
I like the look.
57 hood fits 55 and 56 fenders and trucks without modifications. Do your homework first.
How would it work with ice/snow on it and cold temps for folding up? Thank you.
My father n law bought the exact same one but the cord will not pull at all
All they are is a 55 or 56 with some doodads and ornaments added on so they would sell, all 3 years are basically the same exact truck, imo
Nice Ford
I followed the directions to a tee but when I pulled the starter cord it just came all the way out and would not recoil back. It is now just a long cord hanging out. Do you know anything about this? The cause, the solution?
Send it back. I did with no problems full refund
