Yo, it do dengle! 🤘🤘🤘 Awesome stuff. I have a passive Dingwall (3x FD3Ns, which are inside each soapbar neodymium reverse splits), so even dry it has the fundamentals and overtones of a dengle tone. It's kinda cheating in a way. However, on a fundamental signal level, I've seen a friend achieve close to that baseline content with a much, much cheaper (active) multiscale bass. He even tracked with that on a prog metal album lmao, if it works it works. 😂 However to get that driven DingGlass tone we all love, at first I used a chain like this, both with and without A+B channels for parallel compression: comp (ratio'd for snappy release) > RAT clone, minimal distortion > JOYO Monomyth preamp, drive on slightly, high blend, slight bass cut, max lows, moderate highs, moderate-high trebles Now that I have a Microtubes 900 (its EQ type is a post-signal EQ, to note), it can effectively replace most of my pedalboard, I admit. Will probably keep comp -> preamp before it. Parallax is also great, it's such a workhorse and I use it to track with. It gives me that really driven DingGlass tone, as you're using here, but even on a dry input.

To be fair, Nolly's tones are very Jazz Bass-ish to begin with; the bass on Periphery II and the Juggernaut albums was a Fender American Deluxe V from what I recall of the studio vlogs. Cool to see it achieved with less.
