HI, looking at this ship, what is anyones opinion on how many activities for my 11 yr old boy as this is our first cruise and don't know if we should look at the newer ships instead
While a nice ship, it does lack some things that an 11yo would want when compared to a larger ship. The rock climbing wall and very small arcade are the only things besides the pools that would probably be entertaining for him. But depending if you're on a heavy port itinerary or not, you may not needs those "extra" activities. If your stopping somewhere new everyday (like we did) then the amount time spent on the ship is minimal. If you have 2-3 sea days, than that's when he would run the risk of getting bored.
Thanks for the video. As far as the Platinum above breakfast benefit, aren't they supposed to give you $10 per day per guest (up to 2) F&B credit? Can't you use that toward your breakfast fee?
I took the welcome points instead. TBH I didn’t inquire about a F&B credit. With so many boulangeries nearby, we took the opportunity to try those instead.

Ha ha, not really. But when a Happy Meal is the difference between a cranky kid and happy one while trying to enjoy vacation, I'll gladly spend 20 min and 5 euros on some nuggets. :)

That was an inpressively time efficient visit of Paris. If it was sheer luck thats great but i prefer to think its the result of some reaearch and prep. A tip for anyone who cant do the uphill walk at Montmartre (apart from the funicular) get the no. 40 bus from Rue des Martyrs and youll get a most scenic bus ride and maybe also see some less known bits.

Crap hotel
I swear this is the room we stayed in June 2022. We were on the 16th floor and had the same view. I liked this hotel a lot.

Great video! looking to stay here next summer in the same room. Does the loveseat that converts to a bed have a comfortable mattress? Or is just the loveseat converts to lying flat with sheets and blankets? My teenage son that is 6'0 tall would be sleeping on that and wondering if it's too small/ or uncomfortable. Thanks!
I’m glad you liked the video! If I recall correctly, when they converted the bed they put a foam topper on it. So it wasn’t a full mattress, but it was more comfortable than just your average futon. Our 6yo slept on it so he didn’t complain about it being uncomfortable, but then again he can sleep just about anywhere 😂 Enjoy your stay!

Thank you for sharing! I am booked on the Enchantment in Dec going into the new year. It's my first RC cruise and am aware of it being one of their older ships. Regardless of its age I am expecting a good time!
How was it? What did you think?
I enjoyed it. The ship is not bad at all. Not full of all the bells and whistles of newer ships but enjoyed myself nonetheless. Had a teen who wanted more life and or party options so next time we’ll be taking him on Carnival. The 4yo enjoyed himself and made the hot tub his home for the week! I found the cabins to be very small but no complaints from me. I never felt the crowd was overwhelming and I would do another cruise on this ship.
You missed the Aquarium! The biggest in europe and it's very impressive but expensive to enter
I agree that worth. But, just to be onest, we have the biggest in Italy but we are just second in Europe 'cause Barcelona is slighly bigger (pretty much the same but a few liter of water more). Anyway is a must to see.

Right and wrong :) Cristoforo Colombo was born here in Genova but we don't have any ship of him :) Maybe you've see a Galeon but is just a recondtruction af a spanish galeon for the mouvie "Pirats" R.Polansky late '90.
