I was so excited to get this but it's ruined every card I've tried to make. It's too sticky and rips or warps card. So now it's got paper residue stuck to it which won't come off with gentle cleaning and since you're not supposed to scrape it there is no way of cleaning it off. I wish I hadn't wasted my money I think I'll just stick with reusable tape because this just ruins things!

Sorry to say this is a product I hate. I bought it for stenciling and ink blending, and bending the mat would not release my project without wrinkling the project or actually tearing it. I ended up remaking a card 4 times.

I've only used mine a couple of times using only ink. I just cleaned it for the first time. I used the Squeaky Clean and didn't scrub at all and now there is adhesive missing on various parts of it. I was really excited about this product, but am now very disappointed. My Cricket mats have been used hundreds and hundreds of times and are still sticking well! I'm really bummed. ☹️ This mat needs to be redesigned with the sticky substance that Cricket uses on their mats.

From the sound of an OTHER B.M. vid it’d be a good idea to buy or MAKE a S&S “Buddy”, an acetate “window” that protects the sticky edges from getting inky when you’re blending. B.T.W.: Has anyone found a video on the purpose of the S&S PIGMENT PALETTE ?? Is it really anything more special than a FLAT slick surface on which to put a drop of ink? Think I’d be safer with a shallow paint pan on a piece of silicone.

I love this joint tutorial and family time is always treasured.

I just used my mat for the first time to hold down die cut paper so I could ink it up. Now the ink won't come off the mat... at all. I wiped with a soft cloth. I used a bit of dish soap. Nothing is getting it off. Does it matter? I just see videos like yours where the ink comes right off. I am using Hero Arts ink... not sure what type of ink it is (just the little cubes). Thanks for your informative video!

I followed all these steps and with in a few days it had totally lost stickiness very disappointed 😢

Watching replay I think it is time for me to get back into getting sets again! Another master piece! I have to tell you a story of how my dad got me good I was about 8 I talked my dad into letting me watch the old dracula movie with him! 1976 old black and white well I had one of the old two person jump rope. He told me that he was going to make us popcorn he went into the kitchen came back out as we eating and watching the best part of the show dracula was coming out of the coffin ⚰️ he pulled the jump rope ( that I had no idea he tied to the chair) the chair flew around the corner it scared me so bad I screamed! Never the less mom said I couldn't watch those kinda shows for a very long time we were grounded lol. Those were the days!

My mat was never sticky at all and the die cuts would fall off if I picked up the mat. After watching this video I bought the mat mist which didn't help clean it OR make it sticky again. Wish I could get my money back.

Can you re-stick them? I re-stick my Cricut and Scan and Cut Mats, wondering if you can do the same with these. Maine is not longer sticky and I only cleaned it once with the Mist.

Got this mat to help make backgrounds for my shipping creations. The paper and stencil stuck well. The stencil peeled off easily, but the paper really really stuck and would not peel off. I had to use a lot on spray to get the paper off. It actually shredded on to the mat. Any suggestions for next time? After cleaning TBE mat did retain the stickiness, but the project was ruined.

I have this mat and it is from the beginning not as sticky as you showed. I bought the special mist for it too and I am very careful and gentle with my mat. Since I ordered it overseas (I am from the EU) it is very expensive to get it here. Can you give me tips to get it more sticky again? I love the product and all the videos it is used in have convinced me to buy it. But now it is not working the way I had expected it. My paper comes off way to easily, never used a heating tool on it. Only used your cleaner to keep it as good as I can. Haven’t used it often, only a couple of times and it won’t stick to my hand like yours does😢
