This song for me reminds me of a relationship I had with someone who is no longer on this plain of existence, because we were each other's lighthouse. We would check in to make sure either one was "okay". When I found out that this person had passed I was not and I couldn't call and speak to them or hear their voice anymore. I’ve loved Cher since I was a little girl watching Sonny & Cher. I love her music & movies (she deserved her Moonstruck Oscar!) & I agree that amazing Dianne Warren song from Burlesque is her very best. I saw an interview with her when the movie was out and she didn’t want to do the song because she thought it required more vocal range then she had. Her long time friend Dianne convinced Cher she’d been short changing herself for years and that she wouldn’t have written it if she wasn’t sure Cher would nail it. She said she worked harder than she ever had and nail it she did! So much so that Xtina tried to get it cut out of the movie without success. That made the Oscar nomination even sweeter.

She suddenly bolts out of the house, hysterically crying, and destroys her beloved snow people. This leads the father character to rethink moving the family from St. Lousis to New York. Margaret was well known for her full on tears crying scenes. In fact, she and June Allyson were known on the M-G-M lot as : "the town criers".

This song is stunningly beautiful! It and Chemistry both are so gorgeous. The lyrics & vocals are masterful as well! I love this more ethereal sound for her! I admire her desire and ability to play around with different styles, sounds, and genres! It’s awesome that she doesn’t fit in a traditional “pop” box! There aren’t many artists out there that possess her level of talent & versatility.

This song is my favorite from the album, hands down! I love the entire album though, so that’s saying something! This song deserves to be heard by everyone, everywhere, at all times! She better win that damn Grammy for this amazing album!

This is one of my favorites from the album! It’s such a cool vibe! I can’t sit still when I hear it. The whole album is phenomenal though! She really did a great job with the lyrics and vocals throughout the entire album. I love all the different sounds and styles shown throughout as well. This album deserved more recognition for sure! Just because KC has been around a while, doesn’t mean that she isn’t still making amazing music! This is my favorite KC album to be honest. The masses are just too concerned with what is “new” and “in”, regardless of whether it’s actually really good or not, it seems like.
