On 10/25/2021 @ROCKETBEANSTV revealed the pitch trailer to a Morriton Manor animated series. Inspired by the trailer I composed some original music to it. Enjoy!
What a great video, bro!
R-E-S-P-E-K-T🧐
This inspiration is awesome!!!
cool, I like the merging of Indiana Jones and Harry Potter!
Awesome piece of music!
really cool!
I was so excited for Episode 3! Thank you for sharing your process! Can't wait for more!
Looks beautiful 😍
Man oh Man, der Soundtrack ist ja Super wenn ned mehr.
I love the inspiration and your process! Can't wait for Episode 3!
Really great music!! Really good job!! Thanks very much for sharing about it
The music sounds great! And the insights are very interesting too!
Great video! Mesektet's soundtrack will be worth listening to. By the way, don't worry about spoilers, only a few things are shown from the first chapter that will be part of the demo.
nice
Ja geil, hab ich Bock drauf!
Fabulous stuff. Beautifully written and orchestrated. Well done !!
Beautiful piece! Very cinematic and great modern Hollywood sound! Makes me want to go to the movies this weekend!
Sounds like two airships going at it in the sky… like that pirates scene with the two ships shooting at each other in a maelstrom. Lol Great job. Would love to hear this through a VST like Hollywood Orchestra.
Great job!!
Dear Michael, my name is Andreas, I´m a conducter in Germany. Are you interested to write a piece for a real Orchestra and Choir? Pleas let me know. :-) Best wishes Andreas
Hi Andreas, I would love to know more about it! Can you drop me an email at michael.lueckgen@gmail.com ? We can also switch to german if you like :)
Habe dir eine Mail gesendet.
Very good 👍
This is great thanks for sharing. Can you tell me what software you use for capturing internal sound with screen capture?
It is not screen captured. I exported the audio from Dorico as well as the Score and then cut it together in a free, but clumsy cut program. Would not recommend that :D
Amazing!
I have sibelius and bbco pro and I have not been able to make it work like you in noteperformer 4... did you use sibelius??
I used Dorico. I selected only the tree mics, bypassed the reverb, and set hall noise to off. That's all I did there. What is not working for you?
I use BBCSO Pro in Sibelius. Works fine. But you need a lot of RAM. Don't try to load all instruments.
In the case of the horns, please note that after a stopped passage (+) the (O) symbols should appear on the first open note. Another alternative is to use lines above the technique in order to limit where it should be used.
Thanks for the hint!
UPDATE: I redid some of the dynamics and now it sounds way better in my opinion. You can listen to it here: michael-lueckgen.com/resources/sky_duel.mp3
the mp3 sounds great. Was this done in Dorico also?
@@stevemartinalmonds sure
Hm. What do you prefer? I think NP plays more agile. I’m just upgrading my East West Hollywood to opus. Just for the solo strings…🎉
yeah you are right. But it's worth to note here, that I originally composed this with NP3, so a few lines might be too quiet, or too loud, or slurs used in a wrong way (phrasing seems kinda weird sometimes). I think it could sound better if you try to note the articulations in a way which works good with the library. Or maybe other libraries work better with it? I think I will stick with it for a while, but it's a good point that it's lacking in some places when compared to NP3 directly. Looking forward to what you come up with with your new solo strings then :)
Thank you for sharing. Would you mind exporting the NP3 sound rendering? The sound is great. But sometimes it feels a little …
Sure, you can hear the NP3 rendering right here: soundcloud.com/michael-l-ckgen/sky-duel/s-9RaUWdK8gIk?si=f1259db3575c4434ac6e15c43707ed2e& I made some small adjustments hovewer to a few woodwind run dynamics (had to get louder with BBCSO) and added a slur to a trumpet line. But anyways it should be good to compare the sound.
@ NP4 default rendition sounds better in general, more consistent, specially the Brass wich is the greatest thing in NP default sounds, and honestly sounds better than BBCO brass (with lower quality of course), very interesting. Yep NP4 default sounds has lower audio quality, lower resonance, shitty strings, but despite that it sounds so well performed. If NP4 improves its default sounds it's a big game over for the VST's companies I think.
@@javiermedina5313sadly Arne Wallander has said that is not possible.
@@javiermedina5313 The sounds of NP4 are at its peak, because they're synthetised, so the only thing that they can now improve is the engine that supports different vsts.
@@alejandrom.4680 nah, it's the peak FOR THEM, they don't have a big budget, Wallander said it. What is the hardest timbre to synthetize? human voice, right? or at least it's one of the hardest, well AI now can mimick the voice with such perfection, accent, pronunciation of any person just with a 1 minute audio sample, like the Eleven Labs AI, it's just a matter of time to get that with the orchestra. In some years, if not before, we will have AI playing our scores with an actual real orchestral sound, full synthetized but it will sound like the real thing. Remember this. It will have the same business model as the most famous AI generators
Grandios
Ein wirklich schöner Trailer. Den Armen würde es gefallen!
