10:02 “My Name Is Miranda And I Just Want To Say Happy Halloween!”
The World Needs a High Quality Restoration of the Flim. With the Original Flim that was in the camera of the day of shooting or a Master Negative.
Agreed, though it was edited on tape, so that would require a lot more of a restoration effort, and Nickelodeon barely seems interested in this as is. So I'm not holding my breath sadly
@@secondratefilmschool yeah. The photography director mentioned that the movie was shot on 16mm film, (so essentially the film was transferred to tape for Nick to edit is what you’re saying) so someone definitely still has that film the movie was shot on originally, It’s just finding it (most likely a copy).
@@reverseshin Basically that's my understanding. They shot 16, it was transferred to video and then they edited it. So you'd have to find the 16 and follow the edit notes (if they still exist) to reconstruct it. I know that's been done in some cases (most recently the UK Blair Witch Project release) but it's a ton of work and I doubt Nick will lift a finger to aid in this by releasing that material to someone to do.
@@secondratefilmschool well to begin with I don’t have the knowledge or the right stuff to even do a flim transfer and restoration to begin with, so I won’t be the person asking them for any of that material anyway. I would leave that job to a professional flim lab or something like that anyway.
@@reverseshin Oh same, I can edit stuff like this but not anything major.
Good child hood memories 😊 wish I could go back in time
Man I can taste the little popcorn balls that came in the little wrapper just watching this 😢 any 90s babies here ? 😭😭😭
You unlocked a memory I forgot I had 😭
@@citizn-xh7rv 😭 I’m with you !!!
@@citizn-xh7rvdo you remember when Burger King had the black cherry frozen slush during the Simpsons Halloween special 😢 turned your tongue black 😔
@SeanGOTTIII I've never tried it but now you're making me crave that too, for the sake of 2000s Halloween nostalgia purposes 😢😭
@@citizn-xh7rv they brought it back in 2018 but hasn’t been back since 😔 but right after typing that last comment I went and got Burger King hahaha but man it’s quite sad that if I didn’t mention the popcorn it could have been a lost memory forever 😔 are we going to be ok ?
These are a lot of fun, but one strong suggestion for the voice director or cast members: The comics themselves give you directions - the words in BOLD are EMPHASIZED, entirely to guide your reading and understanding the delivery in your head. These cues are being missed by the actors 2/3rds of the time, leading to really weird line-readings.
Hey this is really fun, but you *really* ought to, respectfully, pronounce Matt's name correctly - it rhymes with "raining".
I did not realize it until after editing was complete. I used to remember it but the gag in The Simpsons game where even Matt gets it wrong now has me tripped up every time. When we do another one it'll be remedied!
i LOVED the halloween disney era 😭😭😭
The Kodak commercial was my favorite because of the music
Always loved that one! Kodak was based near my home town so its always had special places in my heart.

I came across your video by accident. I'm currently working on redrawing the first issue of the comic about Elly Kedward's story and how she became the Blair Witch. If you're interested, I'm posting the work-in-progress of this project on my channel.
Good stuff! Can't wait to see more!
Will there be more ?
There does seem to be a demand! Stay tuned!
Yep because Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer came on that night.

Courage got me though my childhood man, even when I thought about ending it I thought about that pink dog and how much Courage he had even though he was scared
I passed this comment along to David (featured in this clip) and he said "It's wonderful to know that Courage meant so much to young fans -- and still means so much to them" & that your "appreciation is appreciated. Deeply".

BWP is one of the creepiest and most intriguing films I ever seen. Great rewatch value. I love the chills it delivers each time.
This is so great! More Pete and Pete please.
There will!
2:45 I absolutely loved this commercial as a kid❤
Also just commenting to say that I would love it if they brought Crystal and Amber back- but only if done with a lot of care. None of this stuff where Velma is claiming that alien's don't exist and blah blah. And not destroying the love story from the first movie by making a terrible sequel. Honestly I didn't really care for the idea that if Crystal came back looking like a more modern human that Shaggy would say, "I liked you better before." The dude found out his dream girl was actually an alien and he STILL loved her. I don't think he would care what she looked like, he would just be ecstatic that she was back. I also think it would be great closure for the guys to actually get to know about Crystal and Amber as the aliens they are, while falling for them all over again, and having cute moments together even though this time both parties know it won't last forever. Anyway, sorry to ramble, that's just my idea for a sequel.
Yeah I would not like the sequel if they kept the Velma not believing element from the recent movies. As for the "I liked you better before." line lance had I took it as just a style joke that he'd still be in love with her regardless!
So I feel like there were a couple subtle adult jokes in this that weren't covered in the podcast, like Fred sniffing Shaggy's water bottle after the guys get dropped off by Crystal and Amber. Basically him checking to see if it's alcohol becuase Shaggy is acting so strange. Didn't catch it as a kid, but got it as an adult lol. And the other one, that may or may not be intentionally innuendo is the the scene when Shaggy tells Crystal it's a giant jackalope and her response is "Oh so now it's a 'giant' jackalope." Which I honestly feel like this is a joke oh how some guys tend to exaggerate the size of *ahem* things to impress a girl. Or I might just have a dirty mind, who knows really lol.
Oh yeah good catch!
Always love hearing about behind the scenes of Courage the Cowardly Dog, since we never really got any official featurettes from Cartoon Network, so thanks for this! When will we be seeing part 2?
Glad you enjoyed it! There is no set schedule yet but hopefully sometime in November! Make sure to subscribe so you find out as soon as its up!

I still have these tapes but I can’t play them anymore due to not having a VHS. I’m 26 and I haven’t watched these commercials in probably 15 years. I watched the heck out of those films and still remember it all ❤️
Same here. It really makes ya wish they'd start making VHS players again. I mean, records have made a big comeback! Why can't we have them!?
Love this . Very interesting. I remember this .
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved this. Fun and interesting to watch.

Yes early 2000’s was dope but when i was a real little kid, in the 90’s I remember they did this disney halloween that had a compilation of all the animated halloween stuff like sleepy hollow cartoon and the bald mountain from fantasia and the witch w huey dewie and louie vs donald duck……i wish i could find that compilation. This seems like only yesterday this movie came out. Now im in my 30’s……wtf happened.
Back when Disney still was wholesome and had family values
Lol nope. Disney has ALWAYS been awful
@@aPonderousChain It depends how hard you look at things. The quality has tanked so bad that there's no redemption. I don't know what particular stuff was awful to you but at least half the programming was decent from animated TV/films to Live action TV/films. Today I wouldn't watch 1 show if you paid me $100.
Disney still has family values. smh can it nincompoop
Am I old now? When did this become vintage 😢
i would have thought being hit by an atomic bomb should have killed him, but now i know better.

Radioactive man looks similar to Homer and the villain similar to Mr. Burns.
I recall on an early episode Simpsons commentary track the writers mentioned how they wanted Bart's heroes (I.e. Radioactive Man and Krusty) to look very similar to Homer. They liked the irony that Bart had no respect for Homer but all the people he looked up to were the either idealized version of or similar looking to his dad. They even toyed with revealing Homer was Krusty in the planing stages of the series!
@@secondratefilmschool And also cited the fun irony that his dad was an actual "radioactive man", i.e a nuclear plant worker.
@@geraldgottesman5931 That's a good point!
