@PhysiologyLearning I don't have ibd either neither I m having food sensitivity but my life is very disturbed with whatever is happening in my body I feel very low my food isn't getting absorbed properly I have weightloss and due to weightloss I have telogen effluvium mostly in winters I have constant weightloss

Generally thrills are difficult to differentiate. Murmurs can be differentiated - Murmur between S1 and S2 is systolic and S2 and S1 is diastolic.

By palpating carotid pulse( which is actually first heart sound at the upstroke ) we get to know its systolic murmur if it coincides with the pulse upstroke and diastolic if it comes later. Do we need to palpate carotid pulse for thrills too ????
