People pretend that this is a new issue. People reacted this way to gastric bypass surgery too. If you have tried Ozempic, you would know that it is a VERY uncomfortable way to live a day-to-day (at least for me it was). Severe heartburn and acid reflux woke me out of deep sleeps often. However, it did do the job as intended. The reason I went on it is I was pre-diabetic. My bloodwork numbers went down after a month, and the weight continued to drop over the following months. I had to stop it around the holidays, I wanted to enjoy food again and not be so uncomfortable. I have decided to not go back unless I somehow gain back the weight and my numbers go up. The side effects of weight loss are positive too. Easier to go for walks without my bum knee acting up. I think like any other medical decision, one needs to weight the good and the bad. Because there is no perfect miracle pharmaceutical drug. Never will be.

A fabulous conversation. Thank you all. Just one thing that was missing from my perspective when talking about brain health as well as sure control, also metabolic and mitochondrial health. Being in extended periods of ketosis is invaluable. The benefit to one’s brain health as well as energy levels from ketones is astonishing. You do not need any intervention. We have many problems that compound the issue of weight gain. I just read a comment this morning under a thread for menopause. This is an issue that affects so many women and is just beginning to gain more interest. She wrote that even while taking bioidentical hormones, the weight didn’t come off until she found glp-1. The cost of groceries is the highest it’s ever been. Meat prices have skyrocketed, especially if you’re trying to be sustainable or support small farms. People are stressed out and overworked, so convenience wins the day.

I stopped my son's vaccinations (who is now 18) after his 6-month shots (in the USA). However, he was diagnosed with Aspergers/ASD in 1st grade (high functioning). Then, when he was 16, his dad (by then, my ex-husband, whose brother is a medical doctor) took him to the doctor to get "caught up" on all the childhood vaccinations--AGAINST MY STRONG PROTESTATIONS!! I even wrote the doctor a letter, which he read to my ex and son at the appointment. Nevertheless, they proceeded with all the shots (3-4 injections with multiple immunizations, including the MMR). Three weeks later, my son started having diarrhea. It got worse and worse and he started bleeding, too. He became anemic and weak. This condition lasted (nothing but bloody diarrhea with bleeding) for a FULL MONTH. I begged his dad not to take him in for "round 2" of the boosters, but he ignored me and 2 weeks after the symptoms abated, my precious son was given the MMR and other boosters. Eight weeks later, the bleeding and diarrhea started again. With blood tests and colonoscopy by pediatric GI specialist, he was later diagnosed with the *auto immune disease* ULCERATIVE COLITIS. Eventually, he was hospitalized for 4 days (due to dangerously low hemoglobin, etc) a year ago, receiving 2 blood transfusion, etc. He's been on lots of drugs since his diagnosis and is currently on an injection every 6 weeks that costs $32,000 per shot. Despite all these pharmaceuticals, he's had only THREE WEEKS of normal BMs in the past TWENTY MONTHS!! It's diarrhea multiple times a day (at times, up to a dozen), and with blood at times. My son is a 'big win' for BIG PHARMA, that's for sure, but it's a huge loss for him (and Mom).... :( Oh, how badly I want RFK Jr and Nicole Shanahan to change this corrupt system and save our kids!!!!

Thanks to all of the speakers. Years ago when my children were babies I began to question the vaccine push after my first child went through the series. I am forever grateful to the work of Dr. Wakefield because I was able to do the research (this was pre internet) and didn’t vaccinate my other children until they were much older and society rules prevented them from doing anything without providing vaccine records. How to get around the system is a topic for another day. So relieved and grateful that this information is more available and families can make educated decisions.

Maybe you could talk Trump into putting you over the VA? I watched you live yesterday and went to the VA today to see a rheumatologists about inflation, rashes on my hands and randomly across my body. I was told diet would not impact any of this! The after listening to heart, lungs to make me feel like something was done she said time push you off to Dermatology. Which means another 2 months or so to get seen, get some cream like last time and told to "learn to live with it" Then I was told (2 doctor in a month) that since working out makes my chest, left chest hurt for 2-3 days after working out I should just stop working out and adjust my activity level down so it doesn't hurt. They both blamed it on sore muscles, and I can't figure out how squats would make my chest hurt/sore? How and where do they expect a Veteran to get these issues looked at with inflation at crazy rates and healthcare cost through the roof? I appreciate your videos! Your hope and inspiration. The US needs more dedicated people like yourselves inside the system elected or not addressing these problems. Go sit in a busy VA lobby for a few days and tell me what you see...
