The bike is less stable due to the shorter wheelbase. I think the best solution will be steering damper.

I'm very happy with it. Bike is more stable in higher speed, cornering and also the diving on braking is reduced. Still comfotable enough to do full day riding trip. Another bonus is that you can tune the preload on front frok and back shock easily. Definitely keeping the bike for next season.

Never heard about the brand. Can you send a link? Will it came also with the fork foil? Because I ended with redoing the forks as I used too thick oil and it wasn't working for street riding. It was just too hard, more like track ready.

@@agmotorcycles3458 Sorry I meant to say Matris not Mistral. Mistral is an exhaust brand. Your suspension is too stiff now? Yeah definitely don't want it too harsh for the street.

Oh I see 😅. The problem was thay in the instructions was specified to use 15W fork oil. The problem was that different fork oil has different oil viscosity while they are still specified with same weight number. So I went with 15w fork oil with viscosity 58 at 40°C and this was to stiff. So I ordered 10w oil with viscosity 38 at 40°C and it was much better. I just add a little preload and that was it. So given my weight 75KG I think the right viscosity is within range 38-45 at 40°C(thats only mine personal esstimste given the expierence with 15W). Depends on your weight, rode condition and the speed you are driving but I hope this will help you to have some starting point.

@Jessie Tan Thnaks man appreciate. On the street I'm riding maximum at 80% of my maximum. There is no trail braking or high lean angle on public rode. Trying to do trackdays where I can push more. But I have a dedicated bike for this type of use. Ride safe 🙂

Hi, I'm 75KG. And I think thats great for the stock suspension until you start pushing the bike harder.

@@agmotorcycles3458 Thanks for the info. I'm a bit lighter than that. I agree that the stock suspension becomes a mess once you push the bike harder, especially on bumpy roads.

Hi, this is a euro4 engine. I cannot tell the difference between euro4 and euro5 engine sound. Also if you buy a aftermarket exhuast the sound will be absolutely different.

@@agmotorcycles3458 I intend to buy full akrapovic (like on xtribute) and have db killers removed. Hope it will sound like this. It's sick. 👍

Yeah, only the process of removing DB killer, can be litle pain. It needs some love from drill and maybe a bearing puller can help a lot. But the engine is same architecture so the sound should be similiar and without DB killer loud as hell. Have a safe ride.

@@agmotorcycles3458 Ok, this will be done by professionals at yamaha service as the owner is also official distributor of akrapovic. I've seen videos of how it's done, very delicate job indeed. I was advised to break-in engine for first 1000 km on stock exhaust. Any tips on that? How to do it properly? (This is my first new motorcycle)
