What a beautifull place, so peacefull, i love it😍😍😍

In 1975, mum and i had a 21 day holiday from Australia to the western U.S. LA to San Francisco, to Yosemite, to Bakersfield, to Las Vegas, to Grand Canyon, then back to LA to Anaheim, Disneyland, then back home via Papeete. In Las Vegas we stayed at the Circus Circus. There were some renovations going on, but this did not impact our visit. I cannot believe how different it looks today, both inside and outside. Back then, there was only one hotel building behind the circus tent at the front and there was no extended roof covering adjoining the pink and white "tent".This might have to do with the renovation work being done. Of cause, there was no pool back then. The hotel casinos in 1975 were the Circus Circus, the Sands, the Flamingo, MGM Grand. Stardust,Riviera, Westward Ho Casino Motel, and Caesars Palace. The tallest building was the MGM Grand. There was also the Candlelight Wedding Chapel.

The Salton Sea area is so fascinating. Great video! I can hear the crunch of the sand and probably bones in your video. The Bombay Beach Estates is both really funny and devastating but most important is that tub! Omg! Love the drive in theatre

It's La Jolla for only 16-17 minutes. The rest is the San Diego neighborhoods of Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, Point Loma, and a cruise down Harbor Drive.
