I went up with Capt'n "Bingo" Scott in the Dog Ship to practice formation flight with four other airplanes. These fellows are scheduled to fly on Nov 11, Veteran's Day over 10 different show centers to commemerate Canada's fallen soldiers, provided the weather is favorable. No sound recorded.

Is that ice in the lower middle of windshield?
Yes, just briefly. I reported and requested lower (9:40). It cleared after getting lower. No issues.
They need more downwards visibility or elevated dog bed😃
It is elevated a little, but needed to keep is low enough to keep them safe and within the cushioned walls of the compartment. As long as they can see me and a bit over the side, they are happy.

I need to do this on my RV-9A…recently switched over to an AFS5400. Question...did you fly a full parabola? if so, what was your entry speed? At what point did you push over? Thanks
We did this in an RV-7A. It took a couple attempts to do the zero G maneuver with flaps up or down. Initiate a climb, then push over and pull throttle to get to negative G. We pushed until till Elmo lifted, then recovered. The hard part was not to overspeed when flaps are down. We don't recall the speeds, and they are difficult to see in the video, but you can see we were decelerating in the climb and about 85-90kts (2:20-2:40) when we pushed over with flaps up. Flaps down maneuver is at 10:00-10:15. Watch carefully there.
