Yea man, everything is expensive. I dont like dealerships for that very reason. But as a business owner, you have to figure out what makes sense for your operation. It would be nice if your customers just understood why you have to raise your rates. I personally dont like explaining myself to a customer, but something has to be done.

I have the exact same machine only with the 38.5 Kaw efi engine. Try lowering the front adjustable baffle. It comes set with the bolts in the third from top hole and in the bottom slot. That leaves the cutting edges about 3/8" below the bottom of the baffle. I kept the bolts in the same hole, but lowered the baffle to the top slot which leaves the cutting edges about 3/8" -1/2" above the bottom of the baffle. It made my cut improve quite a bit.
