Sweet!!
That looks like the old Quadrabog carbenator.😂😂
😂😂😆
i was told Ferd balancers and hence timing marks can twist out of place if thats the case , i was told to adjust timing for maximum vacum. then turn it off while hot, it will probly drag a little , so then retard it a touch and it should be good
Slowly but surelly you're getting it done. Keep it up. Good catch on the longer bolts, many wouldn't think of that.
Thank you very much for your advice and tips over the years. Yes sir we are very close for the first drive to move it under it own power.
The yellow stuff around the door gasket was 3m gasket seal. Probably should have gotten the black stuff. I think the door gaskets will come off eventually. I'm. Fixing up my 68 Ford truck. Looks good. Thanks for the info.
Highland green sold!
Thats me to I have a 1993 5.0 hatchback & I have a 1990 5.0 convertible
I know this is very late. Maybe you'll see this... I genuinely appreciate what you're trying to do. Please take this video down. Read "Mustang SVO: The Machine Speaks for Itself" by David LaRocque. You'll find the story of SVO incredibly rich. You'll realize that the Mustang community has NO idea. You'll also fully understand why I posted this. THEN do a video about SVO and/or their production vehicle.
On my car I had bad master cylinder and I fixed it and also I gutted the stock P valve and run a wilwood unit on my gen3 10r80 fox swap GEN3YOT my cars done finally and just got lund tune and it rips
Damn a bad master cylinder. I am glad to hear you fixed it too. Good to hear your car is done finally, it s a lot of labor and problem solving that is for sure.
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing wisdom for us coming behind you…. Maybe this will save us frustration and time!!
Thank you for your comment. We are always hopefully that all our videos will help others. We try to be as detailed as possible.
Yep, always the simple things in life. Glad you got it to work. One thing that would bother me is the location of the cap under the strut bar. Yeah, I know a PITA, but I'd modify that bar. I did just that when putting the Coyote in my SN95, even had it re-powdercoated after the tig weld. Also, those ground activated brake switches can be a menace if you try to keep them too tight, as you well found out.
Yes sir the simple thing is always a place to start from first when something is not working as it should mechanically. The soft sponge brake really send me into a rabbit hole. I am glad I was able to bench bleed the hydroboost and the entire line getting rid of all the air and getting a stiff hard brake pedal.
I just purchased a '77 T/A and some of the ac brackets were missing. Most of the bracket hardware was also missing. Your video gives me a good idea where everything goes and also the missing pieces that I need. Thank you very much. 😊
Someone’s got a hard on for a dime a dozen 2005 escape
Boy oh boy that thing had some major cancer
Yes sir! The midwest salted road is the death of many cars.
At 55:02…. The starter feed of steering column is what color wire????? Which connects to the ( red/green) of control pack…………… You were holding 3 control pack wires…. What is the third wire color connecting to what color on steering column?? thanks in advance
The biggest confusion is that I do believe the starter wire is at the coil and people are use to seeing the cables in the starter. Mustangs starter coil is on the fender. And it has a hot yellow wire that runs to a resistor that I grounded to the body.
Thanks!!
Highspeed engineering down under for your oil pump. It’s a must have ! Lots of aftermarket goodies available
I just ordered one for my car and it fit under stock hood also? Sweet
Loved the vid! I currently own an '86 Capri I fully restored 2 yrs ago and have owned a total of 6 over the years... they are an awesome car
Thank you! I like the Capri tough look, the fender flares etc. Thanks for commenting.

There is no subscribe button for me. I'd UA-cam punishing you for something?
Yes sir, this channel has been so low in view, I have given up. I used to think that people were interested in learning about doing this kind of work on their own fox body mustangs. Once in the blue moon I might get someone saying thanks that the Mcscgreenwheels videos help them, they take what they want and do not bother to subscribe.
@@mcscgreenwheels Sorry to hear that. Thank you for your work and I am glad that the lack of a subscribe button was not YT being mean to you.
i flipped mine over, and drove it out with a punch. came out very easily this way.
Thanks! We put this video up because at the time none was out there for these coyote Aluminator crate engine.
fuel crisis under Carter
Yup!
Since our cars/swaps are very similar, how did yall get the AC Compressor Hard Lines away from the OEM sway bar mounts? I'm using the same compressor and SN95 sway bar brackets, but LMR says you have to cut out the mounts to use the compressor you're using...? I can clearly see yall did not have to do this and would appreciate to know how you made it work? Thanks man!
Are many of these cars (88-94) still available? How can I go about finding one?
Yes they are still available and are more reasonable too than the fox body mustangs. I share them all the time when I see them on Mcscgreenwheels facebook page. facebook.com/greenwheelsteam/posts/pfbid0278HZuZrsPGTV3XLZXDEgii9EJuqyBnZUiem27fmdC7NvDrRSWqKkBeP9Pr5VJqdwl
It taste's nasty, but need some tequilla to help it along! 😂 You notice too the caliper bolt is different pitch from the stock to Cobra caliper. I can smell the rubber from here, so much closer to the finale.
😂Yes sir! A tequilla will surely help it along. Yes sir that Caliper bolt is different. We really hope as we are learning and documenting our experiences that it might one day help someone out there doing their own research. All the good old forum that used to be very active online are now dead. Thanks you for the comment and always sharing your own knowledge with us here. We appreciate you.
Your honest, most people try and look perfect so that would get edited out….. but you never know who might be struggling with that same problem and by you teaching them how you did yours it helps them and gives them the courage to push forward. Thanks for another good video👍🏿😀
Thank you very much for the comment. We do these videos in long form and detailed because we had difficult time finding good youtube video online doing the same thing after we search to resolve the build problem we are having online. There are lot of videos out there that are just update videos pf mostly talking heads, telling, and not showing. It is sometime really difficult to see what the video makers are talking about when it come to working on cars, there are not enough light. We hope these detailed videos of ours will some day help someone out there. Please believe me it is a lot of work to shoot these videos, edit, export, compress them for youtube, make the thumbnails, and upload them online. Thank you for your comment and understanding. We appreciate you.
Nice 👍
Actually the V6 and L6 came with either a C3 or a C4, I have no idea what implied which transmission was installed. The 2.3L had the C3 and later the A4LE which is a C3 with OD.
Thanks for sharing these details… working out solutions and going through the effort to edit and share!! I’m not near yet working towards my build step by step
Curious…Did you use the MMS hydroboost brake pedal conversion kit?
No sir I did not! I used the fox body factory brake pedal. I am also researching so I can used the stock speed pedal too instead of all the mix match pedals. ua-cam.com/video/jHbrx1wUS9g/v-deo.html
Thank you I am installing the same motor this video helped
You are welcome! I am glad to hear that our video helped.
Easiest way to tell if it's a 79 to me is the trunk lid, it's flat and straight, all models after we're curved.
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge for others and us. This is something I did not know. Thanks!
Awesome video. I still have my timing light from 1986. I had to do the same thing with my 1965 F-100. I couldn’t see any timing marks
