Seem like everyone dislikes Malik, but I was always a fan of him on the show. Coach Brown honestly was more of a good mentor than a good coach. First game of season one he didn’t even do any prepping bc he self proclaimed to be a “savant.” Even the moment where he had Carlos in at QB, Malik knew it wouldn’t work in practice, Coach still decided to run it on 3rd down lol. Throughout the whole show Coach Brown was more emotional than anything, firing people, whining to refs, getting ejected, and most people just feel like since he’s the coach you gotta accept his bs so I was glad to see Malik & other players stand up for themselves. Brown wasn’t really on point as he made himself out to be.
definitely one of the weakest minds i’ve seen in coaching. If all things were equal and he didn’t have the talent advantage of having D-1 bouncebacks, he’d be wrecked game in and game out. Mentally delicate guys like this are easily outcoached and they always panic in big moments. This is an S&C guy and nothing more.
I never understood negative coaching? Almost all coaches especially head ones would use this negative tactics! Positive reinforcement is the way to go! Parents be involved w/ you're kids playing sports!

Ik the wide receiver coach too cuz they both worked at the college I’m currently at and the wide receiver coach fucking recruited me so trust me when I tell you he hits players up saying “ im the coach from last chance u” to recruit kids. Not me tho cuz I don’t give af what tv show you were on your a fucking air head and he got fired before I got here too🤷♂️

I play college football, been playing since I was 6, I was all state, team captain, and I’m on a scholarship rn. Let me tell all of you something, he is the boss, what he says goes cuz if he don’t win he gets fired and all of the coaches get fired. Second the coach he yelled at wasn’t paying attention to his own fucking play he made! So I’d be pretty pissed too if you made it, didn’t know what you made, then made an excuse on why you didn’t know it. Accountability not only for the players,( THAT ARE WATCHING BTW!!) but for everyone on the team. Maybe he just let them all not know what to do and talk to him nicely next time. A bunch of soft ass people you all are. He sent more young men home with college degrees, better opportunities and some millions of dollars in the nfl but god fucking forbid he yell at the guy fucking everything up and not paying attention.
That head coach is a complete ass that's why you hired him he didn't talk back he was just pointing out what you was fucking up and you took out your stupidity out on him but if it was me he would have been flat on his back you just hired me you didn't buy me and a hospital bill would be in his future
