Yeah. Rewatched in slo mo a bunch of times. There wasn't much pushback before the crash. Though the low battery %, temperature, and speed contributed. Lucky he didn't lose his board in Lake Michigan.

I really like it so far! I moved from a YES Basic 155 to the Standard 151, and I found it much more maneuverable and tight compared to the Basic, probably due in part to sizing but I was also a heavier rider on the 155. It’s hard for me to say in detail how the riding is, because this was my first season with it and I was losing weight as the season went on, so the feeling of riding changed quite a bit as the season progressed. If I get more experience with it this season, I’ll try and respond to give some better feedback. Overall though, I found it to be great in any environment I put it in, and I don’t have any hesitations about pushing it further. Very responsive, held edges well, and speed wasn’t an issue.

Hey Haroun! I'm the rider of the Step-Ons in the video. So far, I love them. The convenience of them is really like nothing else. I also find them to ride very well, like other all-mountain bindings I've tried. I also don't deal with any anxiety of no straps, because to me, the feel, once they're broken in, is identical to strap bindings. The riding on them is fantastic. Carving feels responsive yet soft, and I have never felt as if my boot was about to come out. Speed has never been an issue either. There are only a few problems with them I have, and none of them super major or performance-related. One of them is the boots require you to put the ends of your pants in a clip on the back of each boot. This is so the latch on the highback isn't obstructed and you are able to get fully latched in. However, in my experience, my pants can come out of this clip from time to time. Usually, this is only your rear foot, since it's the one getting latched and unlatched all the time, so I just make sure to check it before trying to step in. The next is one complaint you've heard everywhere, the clicking. I really only notice it once or twice a day, because most of the time the wind noise and general sound covers it up. I honestly don't really care that it clicks, since it changes nothing and I barely notice it. And the last one, sometimes it can be a little difficult to get all three points of connection to latch, meaning I have to put extra pressure or do something on the side that's not latched to try and get it in. This can sometimes take a minute if it decides to be particularly difficult, but this also hasn't happened except a handful of times so far this season. Make sure, if you do get them, that you listen for all the points to connect. Those are the only problems that I've had with them. I will say, I haven't tried jumps or tricks on them yet, as I only started riding a few years ago, so keep that in mind. But for general riding, carving, etc, I love them, and I will never go back unless I'm forced to. The boots I'm riding are the DC Control Step Ons that are new this year, and they have been nothing short of amazing, no complaints there. My riding has gotten a lot better since this video too, since this was my first or second time riding them. I've gone much faster and have pushed them much further than anything in this video without any problem!
