Yeah that V10 sound. Judd or Supertech whatever.... still an NA V10. I remember they were loud as heck when they came to Indianapolis in 2000. I will NEVER forget that experience.

Although it isnt the standard engine, it sounds a hell of a lot better than nowadays F1cars.
Interesting combination with the F2-style XAP wheel, what changes have been done to the car?
The only thing I can see is the tyres which aren't grooved and perhaps maybe some suspension tweeks for them and the engine is likely a Judd V10 and not the original 3L v10
@@nathanmcdowell7306 the control electronics for the engine are obviously not the original ones, hence the different wheel
@@ventisette. ah ok I thought the original wheel would have still been used because I’m sure a few changes would get it working

Very nice Judd V10 engine sound, I just wish it was the original Playlife V10 engine though. But still it's a lovely V10 sound 🙂
You wouldn’t wish it was the Playlife if you had to run it.
It wouldn't bother me at all because I prefer it's pedigree and I prefer to keep it original. But I do love the Judd V10 engine too
The originals are pretty much impossible to find and run, I know TDF have one but it might be the only one around

Btw, this is not the original 3.0l V10 it used. It's an aftermarket Judd v10
Now it can go 3000km between rebuilds, compared with every couple of sessions. At the expense of a slightly lower rev limit.
@@kmc7355 ye, generally the post-restoration parts are ones that are more reliable and cheaper to maintain while providing the same performance, fun and sound as the team-built ones.
@@renanmonteiro316 the Judd performs like the original and is similar in size (hence why it is used) but does not sound anywhere near as nice. They really should have designed it to rev 2K RPM higher.
@@ventisette. Judd or not, I say they limited their revs to be easy on it. I am quite sure it will go higher...if pushed.

The ironic part is this isn’t actually the ORIGINAL f1 V10. It’s a commercially available Judd, that’s just SIMILAR to the v10 we all know and love…
