The DCL Webcam is a 24/7 live nature video stream showing a group of bird feeders located in a wooded area near Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County, Maryland, USA. During daylight hours, please enjoy the sights and sounds of the variety of birds that visit these feeders. At night, the area is illuminated with Infrared lights to provide views of the nocturnal creatures that stop by.

Hawk in the Yard - Two Views (7/31/2024)
This video includes two views of a Hawk in the yard at the DCL Webcam. The first view provides a close-up of the Hawk as it walks around the shed. The second view provides a wide-angle look at the Hawk as it jumps into the garden and then walks across the yard to the shed.

Raccoons at the DCL Webcam bench run up a tree as a Black Bear approaches. (Apparently, the Raccoons aren't aware that Black Bears are proficient at climbing trees.) In the middle of the night, a Possum hangs on the edge of the cement birdbath in order to get a drink of water. Possum begins drinking at [0:55]. (The noise at [0:28] is probably a black bear pulling down a nearby bird feeder pole.)

Did you see the little critter running for its life from the garden towards neighbor's about 3:21:44? Look over the feeder pole by the deck. A baby bunny? I can't tell.

FYI: Possums are admittedly the least endearing creatures BUT their main diet consist of ticks. One possum eats on average 5500 larval ticks per week.😮
