Hello there, I'm an up and coming music producer. I like drawing, composing, anime, making beats and a bunch more stuff. I'm interested in making massive "Hollywood" soundtracks, but especially lighter and more flexible JRPG-style soundtracks infused with rock elements. My main audience on this channel is people who like listening to JRPG inspired orchestral soundtracks, people wanting a composition for personal use, and people who want cinematic music for their creative projects (videos, podcasts, games, etc.). Fall of Maples Cover | coldclouds
Hello again, I've been on a roll lately. This is a new kind of content I want to put on the channel, covers. This channel is not only a space fore me to put out original music and reorchestrations that you guys hopefully like, but also just document my growth in general, a large part of this growth being studies (or covers, put simply). I hope non-musicians/producers/composers will still be interested in my attempts to accurately recreate already existing music, but I do imagine these will perform relatively poorly- not that this is an issue, as it's intrinsically valuable to me and anyone interested in my progression as a musician and perhaps how they could look to improve as well (if I ever reach a level where I can be such an inspiration lol). Thinking of no intro on covers (maybe overall, prolly not tho), I'll see how I feel about it.
Housekeeping aside, this cover was uh... a difficult first choice. I love this soundtrack, this game, this composer (Yu Peng Chen is actually my favorite composer right now), and I wanted to learn something from his style, and I walked away with a few things:
- The importance of doubling in octaves
- Chord inversions
- Being less afraid of dense voicings
- Phasing instruments in and out smoothly when necessary, and giving two instruments the same melody at different points for a different color
- The IVmaj7b5 chord, he threw this in literally whenever possible (can't blame him, it's beautiful and far more interesting than the normal IV, in this case it was Fmaj7b5 vs the standard Fmaj7)
Not sure if I'll always have such a huge information round-up but it's good for getting the knowledge to stick, so who knows? Well, thanks again for watching and I'll see you in the next one, whenever that is.

If you're open to requests, theres an unreleased ost that could be good re-orchestrated. It played during ep 19 when Aladdin pushed reim army & in the ep 20 Barbatos djinn equip.
I am open to requests, but seen as I relatively recently made the Magi orchestration, I don't think I'll return to it so quickly to avoid being too repetitive. I will be returning to it eventually though, and I'll definitely keep this suggestion in mind, thanks
Hello guys, huge thanks to everyone who watched the video, liked and/or subscribed. This upload took a while chiefly due to horrendous crashing, so I might need to change my music making software, and I definitely need a new laptop. But hopefully we should be fine, for now.
This is incredible, you knew exactly what you were doing when making this track I adore the mix of both Cast to Damnation and Enfin Apparu, the dynamics of both Alibaba and Hakuryu is great. They are not similar at all in terms of story and blood, but their roles are almost the same. They’re both strong King Vessels who will do whatever they can for their own respective country, even if it means fighting each other. Especially in the Manga where they have their fated fight. They’re similar in the end, but there’s still the main threat at the end of the day which can be shown at 1:15 tl;dr I freaking love this haha, hope to see more tracks from u and maybe more magi tracks too
